Odd. I'm looking at Taobao's official Facebook page now and I don't see any posts beyond November (11/6/2019).

It's a good thing my last order made it out just before CNY. It'll be my last order for a while.

It's not even clear if they can start work on Feb 10.

Anything not in production is likely to be delayed by a month or more.

Dunno if the factories will delay reopening as well. I need to get some replacements for my War Giant KO, seller said to check back with him after the 12th day of CNY as the factory will open then, but that conversation was before CNY started and Wuhan got locked down.

I think it depends on which country you access the FB page. From Singapore, I get this:

    Screenshot_20200201_141907.jpg

...which is "@sea.taobao", i.e. South East Asia Taobao.

    Whereas yours is "@taobao.global".

Maybe if you try changing your location using a VPN, you might get the page I'm seeing.

    Ebay:
I got an Ebay notification that the person who is selling Tigertrack (Chinese seller) is away until 2/10. So there is merit to that.

Weird. I had a stack of bots in my warehouse. Totally forgot about CNY and I consolidated and requested to ship on/around 21st January.

It sat in the warehouse with no status changes for a while and then on 30th Jan it was packaged successfully and 31st it Departed to Destination. The package arrived today.

My stuff comes from Dongguan warehouse so I don't know if that's in a different region and the restrictions don't apply?

I have another order I made on 22nd January and the status is completely unchanged - seller hasn't even shipped.
But, at least for me, the warehouse staff were around at the end of Jan to ship my stuff on.

Thank god they were. I was having withdrawals seeing everyone else with Jabber, Goose and Gravestone and the NA Coneheads and not having any new deliveries for weeks!!

According to the closure period, shipments were to start again on the 31st, so yours line up with that. I think the closure from the virus more immediately affects domestic shipping and activity. Some sellers haven't even replied to any chats yet, they've not been read. That's my theory anyway

Yeah that makes sense. Pretty much anything I've ordered from TaoBao or Aliexpress has been in limbo for a while now. I was honestly surprised that TaoBao warehouse shipped my loot. I honestly wasn't expecting it for a while yet.

It just means that, once this dies down and things return to normal, there's goingg to be a huge back-log of stuff. I'm pretty much writing off any Aliexpress deliveries till well into March.

Taobao site is extremely slow tonight............ Anyway, was purchasing some camera parts and the seller is going to SF Express them so they'll ship tomorrow. Gave up waiting but does anyone know what Taobao's consolidation position is in light of the virus? Things were supposed to resume on 31st Jan. But in light of @Starganderfish's experience maybe domestic is still shut down but international shipping is moving?

I saw on their FB page that they are extending their warehouse storage duration from 20 days to 40 days at no charge for the rest of Feb, to accommodate the delay in shipping.

Hmmm guys this is a first for me and wondering if anyone can provide any advice please? I got the text message this morning advising delivery today but package is a no-show. Checked Taobao site tracking to find this:
    upload_2020-2-7_1-37-23.png

Tracking is actually marked as "Delivered" in that icon top bar and have had previous orders delivered here without an issue so not sure what has happened here. Do I contact Taobao customer service?

You can, but it is faster if you get the International tracking no from your order details, find who the local courier is and contact them.

Does anyone know how to change your credit card info for Taobao? The card I have been using expired.

My last taobao haul costed 559 yuan to ship for a package of 13kg. Upon arrival, I measured the actual (7.5kg) and volumetric weight (10kg) and then request a refund of 80 yuan through customer service. Customer service replied a 'Yes' after CNY and asked me to submit a formal refund request. Everything just went smoothly as what I have been doing for every consolidated package I have received. My wife jokes that they will blacklist me as I always request shipping refund.

Yesterday they 'rejected' my request and told me the refund amount should actually be 240 yuan and asked me to adjust the refund amount. I can't figure out how they arrived at that number but of course I didn't press them and adjusted the refund amount to be 240 yuan. A few minutes later they 'rejected' me again and told me instead of granting the refund through my credit card, they will credit 240 yuan to my Alipay balance and asked me to cancel the request. Today I see 240 yuan added to my Alipay account and available for purchase.

Does anyone who has recently requested shipping refund experience something like this?

There's an add credit card option when you pay. As the other one had expired it can kinda sit there. Otherwise I assume it's an option in Alipay, not Taobao, to delete a card
