Yeah, now that you mention about the accessories it does make sense. When one of my previous sources leaked to me that we would be getting the character, we were thinking it would be a Walgreens exclusive but alas, he was made as a BAF to sell the series! X) Yeah, I had vague memories of that run and it just felt weird that she took the Thing’s place. I didn’t know this version of Walters is the CW II version. Tbh i just gave up reading current Marvel comics. You got me man! Your suggestion is wayyy better than mine! But tbh I doubt Hasbro would put in 3 figures in a pack in the FF wave. It would be just Franklin and Herbie.
There still are some good Marvel stories though. Not really new at all but currently I'm reading X-Men Second Coming and I'm really enjoying it. So much so that I'm trying to dig up my Hope Summers figure from the Terrax wave that's been packed away for years.
Has there been any updates on the rumored Alex Ross Spider-Man? Seems weird if only the Avengers big 3 get that treatment.
A Alex Ross Spider-Man would be the perfect base for a Steve Ditko or John Ramita Sr Spider-Man. They’re versions were more muscled than the modem super slim Spidey. I think that with a different paint job and different head sculpts ( the way the eyes were designed and the spider logos were different) it would be a great base for several Spider-Man figures. Steve Ditko John Ramita Sr Spider-Man and his amazing friends Spider-Man 90s Spider-Man the Animated Series version ( of which I would also love a Lizard and Doc Ock)
Ended up ordering Hulk off Amazon for retail plus free Prime shipping. Great big solid figure. The translucent Skrull arm's pretty neat. I may want to build him now
Didn't know about that. Mine pegs on the biceps, glad I got that version. I usually take the wings off first anyway, then pose the arms around, then reattach the wings.
I've read that the move to shoulder peg was the change but have no clue which is which, my vulture's wings peg in at the biceps.
When I thought of this, I was thinking how Mattel did it for their DC Universe Classics Green Lantern wave with the animal Lanterns three pack. It did be like two figures with 5 points of articulation and one statue. In this case I think they actually had 6 POA because of their tails . Oh well, I use to own this but I can't remember LOL.
And he only comes in one variant... Star Trek Picard. His super powers also include driving at the speed of walking.
Finally opened up Iceman and he sucks. His head looks like an alien. 2 fist hands don't work for his power set. He needed an open "casting" hand. They should have made him translucent like the 90s TB version. Simpson, eh?
