Nah. Angel is bad on his own merits, although he's improving, but Livio improved a whole lot From his early IDW one work. his visual storytelling is world's better. There hasn't been a single page I can think of in this mini-series where I couldn't tell exactly what was happening, and that was a common problem with his early work.

I’ve really liked the constructions story but my god it has dragged on due to the release schedule. I’m very excited for the next stories. Hopefully given the lead time and the fact that it’s different creatives, there will be no delays to the release schedule.

You’re right, the Primacy, Autocracy, and Monstrosity arc was phenomenal!

remember everyone, these companies make comics for the Paperbacks now. They could care less about floppy and release dates. It\'s all about the Trade Paperback that will live on Amazon for decades.

Nah, Ramondelli's art is still a dumpster fire.
    I'd much rather have Hernandez.
But why settle? If the books gonna be delayed anyways get some of that quality art from Alex Milne, Hayato Sakamoto, Andrew Griffin, or Sarah Pietre Durocher.

He used it atleast during his first fight against the dinobot and the combaticons in the cartoon, aside from that he have eye and finger laser, he is able to burrow his hand underground and dig up to attack enemy from below

For melee, his toy and devestation counter part uses a pair of drill from bone crusher and scavenger

Love Livio.  Would be so psyched for Constructicons in WFC like this.

I enjoy the Constructicon story. Even Livio's art improved, for example he sometimes draws straight lines and started using normal perspectives instead of faraaway shots. He evem got better with static faces, but expressions are still something he needs to practice. But he seriously goes and tries to compare his art to that of Watchman now? LOL. I never noticed the incomplete Autobot symbols because the backgrpunds are still muddied water paintings where it is hard to make out anything due to all the black shadows and dark washes.
I think you forgot the sarcasm tag...

Respectfully (and as someone who traditionally hasn't been a fan of Livio) I think this is a misread...he said he was attempting to homage a concept he saw in Watchmen vs. comparing his work to Watchmen itself.

My feeling about Ramondelli has always been that he's rather weak on the draftsmanship, but he carries it off with large helpings of post-processed style and atmosphere. It means his work can be very cool at times, but not versatile. He's sort of stuck in one mode, because his foundation skillset isn't strong enough to grow beyond it (or rather, it doesn't feel like his work has changed or improved very much).

And I'm fine with that. More power to him. Give him the stories his style is suited to. I won't begrudge the guy for making a living on his art. What he lacks in fundamentals, he makes up for with mood and vision (although some may joke that he makes up for it with a LACK of vision   )

    As for Devastator's rifle...
"His solar energy rifle shoots a 10,000 degree centigrade heat beam a distance of six miles."

That's like... twice as hot as the surface of the sun? Sounds like a good thing to have in your arsenal. Saves time walking six miles just to smash something. :lol

I get what he was going for with the sibling relationship among combiners, I do.
But to state that their are no "brothers and sisters" on cybertron is untrue.

We've had many cases of sibling transformers, and most have been explained, in universe, on how they came about and what makes them siblings, such as split sparks.
