Honestly that’s probably the most ok cover I’ve seen from them in a while. Good job guys, this time you didn’t make it weird :thumb

So, it will be just one main story and one backup story? I would have wanted a lot of short stories, including some set in the pre-reboot universe. Well, I hope we still get some cameos of old IDW couples in the background.

Not really my kind of thing, but might get it purely on the basis that Transformers comics are the only thing I'm collecting these days.

Why do you even need convincing? Glyph has existed as a Transformers character for 18 years and she's been a she from day one.

    Ah yes, intentional lameness.

    I wonder why.

It's funny, now that you mention it ... I also noticed that in recent years the female Transformers have been drawn less and less feminine, but rather masculine. Which I personally find its a great pity because I have nothing against feminine-looking female transformers. As for the comic, I can hardly wait until it comes out and I'm looking forward to the characters and the story.

I understand why they didn’t, but like Road Rage, I wish they had given Glyph the faceplate to help differentiate her from Bee.

All I know is that I hope that this is a sign that there will indeed be a Glyph and Tap-Out made in the near future. I've wanted an updated matching set of those two for awhile now to replace my Impossible Toys versions, and I'll gladly take them using the Earthrise design even with the partsforming backpacks.

A seemingly heteronormative couple in IDW? How bold and refreshing!

I was rather encouraging peeps to do their own custom tap out and glyph, after all even from the preview I think that is the design its referring to (not 100% sure.. ).
It's a great mold, was easily available and cheap and awesome for army building. and just cheap enough to practice on your customs.
As to the battle damage I think I used a wooden toothpick that I would keep lighting before applying.
The paint is games workshop stuff, u add the silver by dry brushing over the damage and then use inks/shades on them to give em a dirty/oily look -

It's honestly less complicated that using spray paints (especially if you don't have a outdoors area) and games workshop allows for a lot more detail than Tamiya paints.
Hell, If you don't even want to go to the trouble of getting your own stuff you COULD... get the figure and go to a Games Workshop and ask to paint it there. Buy something from them maybe .. :lolol

    oh.. btw

Every time I see a news story about the new IDW continuity I check to see if this is something that's going to bring me back.
All I ever see are various bots standing around talking.
    Every.
    Single.
    Preview.

Possibly, but a panel showing an empty crowd could've been a better way to highlight that.
