Got my coneheads a few days ago. I loved the NA Starscream but I think these are slightly superior. The heel spurs are completely optional and I haven't felt the need to use them, and the slight differences in wing transformation between the three of them is nice. I thought the way the robot head is handled under the plane might bother me, but in hand I think it's a non-issue for me.

I now have 4 pieces of the space bridge and like it a lot as a display option. I'll probably get Skywarp and Thundercracker to complete the base seeker trio and get 6 pieces of the bridge, which should be enough for me.

I think these are the best seekers at any scale so far. It's the first time I've felt compelled to get more than a couple of the repaint/slight re-mode of seekers.

hey seekers guys...???

could one of you please let me know what that little nub is on the back of the seekers between the wings is. does it serve a purpose or is it an alt mode tab? i just wonder because it is such an odd design element.

 

It’s for robot mode, to keep the backpack in place. The wing assembly folds up against that and pegs in.

 

Finally got around to opening the Coneheads, and realized that wheee, Thrust's VTOL fans actually rotate!

I really like these little guys.

 

Haha, and now I realize that too, had no idea. It’s a nice touch.

 

^Finally got around to opening Thrust a few days ago. It was just a nice reminder on how great these figures really are, having all 3 together is pretty great!

More than anything else, those ugly guns put me off these. Why did they decide to go for toy accuracy (sort of) for 2/3 of the Coneheads? Thrust is just fine, but you could not pay me to own New Age's Ramjet or Dirge.

 

You do know that the larger outer gun casings are optional?

 

The bomb casings are removable, all three have normal null rays underneath them.

 

Kinda like the casings, would have liked them more if they where like the Iron Factory ones, for every conehead a different shape.

The Iron Factory ones aren't casings.
