According to Wikipedia, the shortening of "popular" to "pop" happened around the 1950s, and "popular culture" goes back more than a hundred years before that, but it's just the concept of what books/music/movies/tv are popular or were popular. MTV and "boy bands" were never more than a fraction of that whole monster.

If your going to get a g1 prime just get mp-44. $800 for a statue that\'s oddly proportioned is not worth it in my book.

I get what youre saying, but youre talking dictionary terms. Im talking more about how the term was used in real life, particularly in the 1990's and 2000's. Here in Miami, in a very multicultural environment, "pop" was generally viewed as a type of music. The term "Pop culture" was usually associated with anything that was an offshoot of pop music or its fandom. Or to be more blunt, pop culture was basically the opposite of urban culture to Generation X. It wasnt until milenials grew up that the term pop culture started being associated with hobbies, video games, cartoon characters, fast food chains, and anything else they could "like" on social media. All Im saying is times changed.

I don’t know what pretend life you think the dictionary documents that doesn’t line up with your individual familiarity, but whatever. Sure man. Nothing exists until you personally learn about it, and your local culture is the only valid one. All other vernaculars are fake. I wish me and Andy Warhol lived in 1990s Miami where they decided what all the real words are instead of wherever we got our gibberish.

The problem is it's a BAD, "loosely drawn animation cell". I mean this is up there with the worst of the AKOM animation errors. Weirdly, teeny, tiny chest windows; odd, rubbery bent limbs; big fat, full nappy.
I'm a big fan of the toon accurate look, but this is the toon error look.

Funny you guys are complaining about this figure's proportions when most of y'all were fine with MP-10's proportions.

I'm not a fan at all of the cell shading fad. Both of these would be great if not for that. Price is a bit high though for something like this. I'd guess more like $600-650.
