Yeah, that's what I was afraid of. I was wondering if those tires had any alt-mode function. I tried them on long haul as well but they don't work

Does anyone have an OS JinBao Yellow Gravity Builder for sale? Doesn't need the upgrade parts if you want to sell that separately.

Original is removable and repostionable too.

hey guys, the Long Haul and Scavenger guns have holes on the side, does anyone know what those are for? do they attach somewhere? In combined mode, I was able to put LH's gun on on the peg of Hook, the one that connects to the rear half of his body in crane mode, but it's not a perfect fit, so I don't think that's where it's really intended.

Those have to do with how the weapons store in vehicle mode. Scavenger's is actually somewhat important to stability in vehicle/leg mode since it helps hold his feet and legs together. Longhaul's can't store in combined form but stores, IIRC, between the legs and under the truck bed in vehicle mode. There's a few varying theories on how to store it in combined mode but I've not been able to pull them off personally and just opted to give it to my second Longhaul.

I think you are refering to Scrapper (Front-End Loader). The two-piece gun of Scavenger is pegged under the torso in alt mode, but it has a peg hole on the side that doesn't look to me like it fits anywhere. It's not really an issue with me because it's not displaced in alt or combined mode so it's more of a curiosity.

For Long Haul (Dump Truck), I was able to place the gun behind the right shoulder of Dev (gun pointed upward) by attaching the hole on the side of the gun to the peg on Hook (Crane) but I am not certain that's really the pupose for it because the hole is a bit tight for the peg, and I wouldn't want to damage the peg by forcing the gun there.

I was able to put Long Haul's gun on the side of Bonecrusher (Bulldozer) in combined mode, by connecting it to the exposed peg that attaches to the shoulder/arm in robot mode, but again, I'm not all too sure that's what that hole is really for.

I'll try to post some photos when I get home tonight.

Oh, right. Damn. I did mix up Scavenger and Scrapper. Uh, a bit of an honest mistake there. You're right in that there are a few weird holes that don't seem to line up with anything, now that I'm thinking of the right gun. Might have been for plans involving the weird semi-transforming gun for Devy that they never really seemed to fully commit too.

BA3DF169-0669-44B1-BEC7-BD4196065630.jpeg Got my set in a couple weeks ago and combined him. I think I got lucky because he’s pretty stable. Overall I’m happy with the set. I wish the green had a little tint of yellow but for less than $200 I really can’t complain. However I’ve been waiting since December for the upgrade kit to be delivered. I hope the leg extenders won’t throw his balance off.

I ordered the upgrade kit around Xmas but I’m because of Chinese New Year and coronavirus it’s taken longer than expected.
I ordered thru tfsafari. Nothing against them. I pinged them the other day and they got back to me in a timely fashion, explained the situation and gave me a timeframe in which they’d send another set out.

All my orders have shipped from China. Usually takes a couple weeks but I’ve found them to be less expensive.

Holy crap, 200 bucks??? Guess I shouldn't be complaining that my USD97.00 yellow dev is missing a shoulder ratchet that cost me USD10.00 to replace... Now if only I can dispose of that upgrade kit it came with

What's the consensus? Do people typically like this one/jinbao OS or the toyworld constructor one more?

With the thigh extensions installed, Constructor and Dr Crank are about the same height as each other. They're still quite a bit smaller than Generations Metroplex, though - more like TR Trypticon height (though without the bulk front-to-back).

Are they the same size with the Jinbao upgrades or without?

For the size, detail, and money, I'm very happy with my set.

Just got mine, awesome better than I thought it would be. Don't own the original Generation Toys Gravity Builder but got all the Zeta stuff and the Toyworld Constructor and I would say it is solid as the Zeta stuff but not as solid as the Toyworld Constructor. But that said it had no QC problems unlike any of the Toyworld stuff i have ever purchased, Toyworld QC is plain ass. The stability problem I believe are over stated IMHO, at lease with the upgrade that came with this set. It is as stable as Zeta's Bruticus and I don't believe anybody was saying that it was awful, just not as good as Devastator or Superion. But when you think back to when this original design was made pretty much all combiners were ass when it came to stability. That is why they were all posed in a "A stance" because anything else was out of the question to do. QC was great on my set, not a problem that I have seen and the paint is very good. The paint is not Perfect Effect, Spark Toys, Giga Power or Fantoys which are painted like collectibles but more like a very good toy paint job. I am only talking about this set which is the weathered upgraded set but if you were even just thinking about getting it just pull the trigger. The price for quality is amazing and the fact that you can get thing about about $45 for bot is great. Unless you have to have die-cast in all your toys because you believe that add some kind of magical quality to it, then this thing is not for you. Wait till 2022 when Fantoys will reveal their is coming out and it should be done by 2032 give or take a year or so.

Cool thanks for the write up! Do you have the battle damage toyworld constructor g2? If so, how is it compared to this dirty devy?

No I did not get one, to be honest I wanted one but after all the QC problem with my Constructor I am never getting another one again. Unfortunately after much research on my part the QC problems on my Constructor were not out of the ordinary and I was not going to risk how bad they are with their joint fitment but with a layer of paint also. Maybe it was just my bad luck with the toy and maybe I was just looking for bad new to re-enforce my thoughts about Toysworld's QC, just my opinions about them take it for what is it worth. But in pictures it does look awesome, if you do get one get it from a in country seller so any exchanges will be fast. Chinese seller are very good also with exchanges but shipping will take for ever. Good luck if you get one
