Out of the Limb bots I think I like Nautilator the best for a cool looking decepticon. Especially the look of the new Selects figure. Seawing and Jawbreaker/Overbite a close second... but I freaking love Tentakil’s look for all the wrong reasons. I think he gets the most personality coming through. It’s just that it’s the personality of a crazed Doofus. He’s really loving life.

Urgh. Crazy few days here. Chinese New Year, Coronovirus, work being difficult......

I really like Turben. He is showing his age a little, but that alt mode is awesome. Transformation is a lot simpler than I was expecting, but not simplistic or boring, and MMC have managed to get a bucket load of character into the bot in all of the small touches and details with him and there are a lot of options for display.

I wanted Skywing as soon as I saw the prototype pics, but when the price was revealed I basically gave up on him. I wasn't in on their Prime as I was the only person globally who wasn't massively impressed, and as a stand alone piece, the retail price seemed crazy. Then TF Source had him in their end of year sale for $60 and I already had a stack waiting to ship with them anyway (Loco Robo!), so it was an easy buy. Then he arrived, and I saw how big he is and understood the price. First transformation was terrifying, but its one of those figures where you need to do it once to learn the tolerances and which pieces need to be critically lined up. Second transformation was far more relaxing.

I seem to have gone on a shopping spree this month. I still have Katana - GenToy Blades - to pick up in two weeks, and then only their Hot Spot to get. Also put in preorders for Leader Astrotrain (the Earthrise version is just a repackaged Siege Astrotrain.... right?) and Leader Prime with trailer, plus Grapple and Wheeljack too. Thats most of the current Earthrise that I am looking at ordered now, which feels good. I also managed to place an order for both the OS movie Blackout AND OS movie Bonecrusher. Filling in a few of those collection gaps that I missed out on last year when times were not so easy.

    Hello, Old Friend...
    DSC_0049.JPG
A slight sprucing turned into a buggeration of a clean-up job after my Molotow silver pen decided to spooge far too much acrylic on his belly button, so a minimal job ended up in a maximum effort.
Still at least picking out some central chest detail in silver ended up as good-looking as I suspected. Eventually.

Y'know if Hasbro did a Select recolour/re-faceplate of him as Cybertron/GF Vector Prime, either in the original, Galaxy Force gold & brown, or Universe brown & black, I'd be on it like white on rice!
Kinda bummed that LG went with Lio Convoy and missed Ol' Vector.

If that face had been on his entrance figure then I'd have bought it as I much prefer his plain black WCW attire.

Just sold ToyBiz Mecha-Hulk for an ungodly amount on eBay. Now I have some extra cash but I think I’ll put it aside for the other Seacons. When were the others due to be released? Is it 2 a month?

Was doing some OCR cleanup on some of the unedited scripts (Transport To Oblivion, Starscream's Brigade and Fight Or Flee) and finally got around to separating out and putting up that one page of the script from Masquerade that got mistakenly scanned in with the dialogue script back in the 2000s.

Top tip - if ordering from Smyths through it's account holder scheme what you really want to do is get it delivered to the store.

They use DPD, so if you're not in you'll have to get it redelivered, drive to a collection point nowhere near where you live, or potentially the same for the depot.

Now, I have the aforementioned giant parcel box outside my house - it's still not big enough for the RIDICULOUS box sizes they use. And I'm pretty sure that's what happened AGAIN today. So yeah, store delivery...

Anyone else think that Grimlock looks like Crosshairs?

Or that Crosshairs looks like Grimlock?

Random musing whilst work have me stuck in Leeds for three days, although at £3.80 a pint I’ll take that!

Grimlock with gasmask-style pipes on his faceplate - that's why my aborted Titans Return Crosshairs got a modded Clobber as one of his optional heads!
    DSC_0026.JPG
(And Blowpipe as the other 'cuz I reckoned he looked like the G1 toy head wearing a faceplate.)

Didn't have a plan for him, there wasn't anyone Dune Buggy-y enough in the line to misuse. No, wait, that's a lie, I did have a theoretical model for using a De-triple-changered possibly Headmastered T30 Sandstorm for him but realised permanently fixing the wheels to his legs would turn in to a much more major rejigging of them than I initially thought, and that I didn't have the confidence that I could solve that issue with the skills and ability modding wise I had at that point! I'd almost totally forgotten the notion but it popped back in there as I was typing!

it looks too low slung to me, like it be came across a speed bump he wouldn't be able to get over it.

It does seem that the more obscure characters are held back for the later waves while the more well known are shoved out first. Is a casual fan going to want a Voyager Optimus Prime that they remember from childhood, or Apeface who they may never have heard of?
Love the fact that the bio writer (Budinsky?) doesn't have a clue how a hovercraft works :lol
