There's a lot of truth to this statement.

 

As much as I love the engineering and possibilities of today's TFs that are mass-release, take me back to the times when Deluxes were larger and $10. That was the best time.

 

I mean, you can't undo inflation.

But I do miss how chunky and durable older TFs were. I'm slowly rebuilding my UT collection and God damn if I don't feel like those toys had more colour, quality and class than a lot of modern day TFs.

 

It looks like my stores wont be getting anything new any times soon, all I've been able to find are Thundercrackers and Chromias.

Don't even get me started on hunting for SS figures, I'm stuck in a sea of dropkicks (both helicopter and car) and Crankcases...

 

Really not loving how Hasbro released three cybertronian seekers, I rushed out to get them thinking that would be the chug versions for my collection then they announce this and release it so soon after.

 

I'm betting on there being more PotP Starsreams being swapped that weren't already done with SIEGE boxes than SIEGE Starcream's in ER boxes... Hell, a lot of people might remain content with the SIEGE version.

Plus out of every CHUG Starscream released in the past 14 years "Popeye arms Starscream" is still the all time worst IMO!

True, but I feel more like this with Optimus Prime finally getting a Trailer after me spending time wiping the bird poop off of the SEIGE version.

ER Starscream I might get once on sale and keep it in jet mode...

I apologize if maybe that was answered or buried in the many threads related to Earthwise toys, but now that people are getting these in retail, do we know now what the "map" pieces are supposed to be that they said every figure in this line will come with? Wondering if they're just cardboard or actually something out of plastic that connects into a bigger map?

 

@ChotoLatte what are the articulation limitations this version of Starscream have in comparison to the Siege version?

Eh, alot like Optimus I think it's too soon after the Siege Starscream to get a new one. Plus I am just one away from completing the original Seeker Trio.

 

So they made an upscale of the Classics mold and screwed up the chest (it looks even more disconnected than the original toy), half of his crotch is now gone, and didn\'t even add a waist rotation because of the engineering from what I\'ve heard. Eh.
