I don't really see why a head for the lynx couldn't pop out from the body. I think the neck is more about the base mode going by the pic.

 

You can see what looks like the 2 Lynx tails in the 3rd image. Theres no reason it wouldn't have that mode as the only thing we dont see of that mode is the Lynx head. We know it has the legs, we know it separates, we see tails etc.

 

Am I missing something? How could Skylynx get into that basemode without splitting?

 

I did some math and if the shuttle portion of Sky Lynx is about 20cm in length, it will have the same proportions compared to Omega's rocket as the space shuttle compared to the Saturn V rocket. It would be really nice.

 

Well I guess it prob will have lynx mode. Thank god. But in that case, how much would it cost? Are they still doing it at 80, or is it going to be a bit more expensive? And when can we buy it?

 

Although I would be more happier to see a Titan Metroplex 2.0 that is accurate to the toon version w/ the 2 big guns (Sixgun) and a shoulder antenna, I will never say no to an official Mini-Magnus with a Commander Class Metroplex to join my SD UM/Metroplex duo or as per Scramble City episode! Leave Micro Prime to pair up w/ Omega.


As for Skylinx, the combine dino/lynx mode looks very impressive. The alt.mode...it's ashamed that it had to be compromised for the 3rd base mode which I couldn't careless. At it is, the jet is hauling an oversize base in length which looks meh. Then again, maybe it's just perspective, will probably look better in person or better image. The 2 tails image does give me hope that the Lynx mode exists. Otherwise, I will bash the 3rd base mode even more, lol.

 

Not that this does much, but instead of imagining it as the shuttle and cargo, I'm going to see this as a portable base, or a shuttle with a drop tank. Watch lynx steamroll his opponents and sky dropping the bomb

 

Sky Lynx is beautiful.

And my bet is that it does indeed split, whether there's a lynx mode or not. The shuttle looks like it separates in the base mode.

I actually think the base mode, given the Micromaster theme of a lot of the line, could be a subtle nod to Rocketbase/Countdown. Albeit not made to look just like it, the shuttle likely comes off. I'm wondering if they will make a Rocketbase at some point too, to mount the shuttle on. Since rocketbase was intended to work with Galaxy Shuttle too, that would be a nice nod without actually giving us a Galaxy Shuttle.

Either way, a nice little blue shuttle themed base will be fun to put Omega's Countdown figure in alt mode in as a nod to the G1 Countdown set. Thus potentially explaining (in addition to just being a shuttle and a rocket respectively) what catz meant by it complimenting Omega nicely way back at the beginning of the leaks/clues.  

 

I hope that Sky-Lynx will come with blast effects like Jetfire does.

Underwhelmed by Scorponok, hope to see more images soon. I was hoping for the chunky proportions of the G1 toy(yes I'm aware they're probably modeling after one of the cartoon models but there's no way for us to know beforehand). And the WFC lines have been picking and choosing from cartoon and toy influence so it's hard to predict how a toy will look.

 

Will this new Sky Lynx scale with his rival POTP Predaking?

Siege Omega Supreme was created specifically to scale with his rival CW Devastator so hopefully they follow suit here as well

 

I'm just picturing a good-sized bot like Hoist hooking his towing attachment to SL's base mode there. Yeah, I'd say he'll be properly massive.

Kinda worried about the lack of a tail, but knowing Hasbro's photo shooting practices, it's probably mistransformed. =p

 

I mean I can see the tail, atleast the end part, and I think I see it for both separate modes

 

The sky chicken tailfin tail is in the picture, but the double lynx tail is not (I don't believe)

 

I know it doesn't help much, and probably even obscures some details but, enlarged and slightly sharpened, and brightened a bit.

 

I mean the lynx tail looks like it in the base mode if look at the sides it looks like the bit that would be laying on the ground
