I tried to make Soundwave look a bit more old-skool than the rest. I like the idea of him being really old-fashioned in his dress-sense, almost as though he sees his appearance as being a secondary thing.
It's a great vehicle for him. Why another Hummer bot? It's perfect the way it is. It doesn't need to be a well known vehicle. I doubt too many people knew of the Buffalo before Bonecrusher. This is a great design, a great picture, a great overall concept. Nothing wrong with it, at all. Love the Ravage tire, and the Laserbeak radar dish thing.
I have to say, thats awesome and it makes a killer Soundwave. Maybe like with Barricade they could make a spot on this Soundwave for Frenzy, or Rumble or who ever to hide in. Maybe the center piece on his chest (the area behind the grill) could flip up for Rumble or Lazerbeak to come out of.
Oh, I think there's plenty of room for lots of cassettebots! Laserbeak is the satellite dish on top of the vehicle. In robot mode he sits on Soundwave's shoulder.
Soundwave, yeay! But I never even thought there was such a thing as a mobile communications vehicle. Now for lazerbeak and ravage. I'm guessing one of them should be a satellite dish.
