Going off the general difference between Legends and Scouts I think that looks like a fairly accurate assessment to me...

I am still gobsmacked Hasbro’s got the brass bearings to charge $20 for something that small...

It's partly the tradeoff for Hoist being so big that it's been confused for a Voyager. Good odds that when the Bumblebee version happens, it'll be in a wave that includes Trailbreaker for the very same reason.

It is. Budgets are per assortment, and not necessarily split evenly among each toy in the group. It's been explained at various points to us by Hasbro folk.

I've seen a pic of Grapple from someone who got him from Kapow, but did they get Starscream too? If so link please! Generally Kapow get toys in solid cases from Hasbro UK now and sadly having one toy from a wave's mixed case doesn't necessarily mean they've got the other

Then wait for a sale. He’s bound to come down in price.

Ugh! I still haven't got my grubby mitts on Springer, and I haven't seen A-train or Spinister anywhere.

Maybe. The first wave of Siege shipped almost nowhere here. I saw one Hound at one Target. That was it.

Now, maybe Big Bad will have to dump sets of four for $40 this summer like they did with Siege W1 but that's not exactly the same as getting Cliffjumper on sale.

I didn't expect it to turn into that? I've suddenly revised my opinion of Ironworks from "eh" to "whoa".

I’d have liked a Battle Master or Micromaster to accompany Cliffjumper instead of his accessories to make him a more worthwhile purchase.

And Bumblebee might be able to come with an accessory figure, like maybe Spike.

So Cliffjumper gets BFG, Bumblebee gets BFF. Everybody is happy.

With these already being spotted at retail, how long will it take for online retailers to get?

They might have them already but are embargoed till the street date - March 31st if Amazon is to be believed.

Target have a track record for ignoring street dates and sticking stuff out. Happened with Siege and POTP too IIRC

I may be wrong but I don't believe any of these lines are street dated. Typically only toylines associated with movies are street dated. I think the online retailers just set their estimated ship dates a bit far out to avoid issues if product is delayed. Amazon is already shipping the earthrise micromasters but I don't recall what the estimated ship dates were.
