Repainting Masterpiece figures as cop cars -- or Diaclone homages -- is a well-established trend now. TakaraTomy gives them names like "Cordon" and "Clamp Down," making them new Transformers characters.
But what about when a third-party does it?



This is X-Transbots MX-XVII-T, “Taiho.” It's not referencing a specific Transformers character, nor even homaging a Diaclone toy; it instead represents the Honda City patrol car featured in the You're Under Arrest OAVs, TV series and comic books.
So the only way I can justify posting this figure as a challenge is to accept any version of the same mold that does represent a Transformers character, namely X-Transbots' "Savant" (Skids) or "Herald" (Crosscut).

So have at it.

You really can't go wrong with EVA merchandise. The Metal Build figures are stylish and modern, the Real Action Heroes are totally anime-accurate and fantastically posable, the MAFEX and Revoltech figures have a ton of accessories and display options...
...but for total, unadulterated, balls-to-the-wall kick-assery, I prefer to go oldskool.  



At over 40cm tall, the Tsukuda Hobby vinyl figures tower over anything else on the market... and the trio can still be sometimes found for less than they retailed for twenty years ago!  

 

Posting this 3 hours early as I have a bunch of work related meetings this morning.

It's a hard life when you're a legends class figure and have to constantly go up against the big bots.

Back to the New Age Coneheads, I may have gotten the name for Thrust wrong last time... I think Mephisto is actually Dirge, who is the next challenge.

If u want some og Eva and Are a cheapo with a lot of free time u could put make the paper craft Eva, mines still holding up ok after over a decade, and u can scale it to whatever, mine is like two ft, but you could easily scale the pictures up or down before printing
