    And what about the Constructicons?
They can’t be triple-changers either, right?
Hook is just a folded-in-half vehicle
Bonecrusher is just his vehicle mode with an arm slapped on
Mixmaster is just his vehicle mode in a different pose as well
Roadking is the same except he’s in bot mode

and also the g1 Menasor toy
    Just vehicle modes
    Skydive and Air Raid too
    So are they triple-changers?
    I say yes

Well that depends on what Contructicon toy are we talking about... The GT GB all members are triple changers, they have parts which their only purpose is to form Devastator, the leg bots have the knees and feet, the arms bots have the the shoulder joints and the forearms, the torso bots have the head, hips, etc. To me, there have to be combiner dedicated pieces in the bot to make a third mode to be believable.

The last bots you mentioned have a functional 3 mode, for example Air raid has to have the necessary parts to be the arm of Superion. Zeta's Air raid does just that.

Saying that Roadking have a third mode is a bit of a stretch... I would call it a "configuration" instead. But that is just my humble opinion.

Hey guys sorry for asking this again but is it just me or is the metal slider at RK's shoulders nearly impossible to pull out all the way out? Mine came only "partially" pull out of the box and it's pretty much impossible to pull the shoulders out any farther for transformation. Does anyone here have the same issue with the metal sliders in the arms being crazy tight/impossible to pull out?

Can you clarify what you mean by the slider? Do you mean actually getting the shoulder out from the chest? Or the step after that where you pull out the joint a bit further? If it's the former, I found that it was easier to get the joint out but first pulling the backpack out then reaching inside the chest and pushing the joint out rather than pulling it out from the shoulder. If it's the latter, I have had no issues pulling mine out. Are you sure that they're not already fully extended?

Im assuming your talking about the round peg at the rear of the truck bed.
The main truck bed sections arent molded straight on my reissue copy and have a slight bend to them, meaning that the rear peg just doesnt go in fully, and i probably would not advise trying. Its visble on one of the photos i previously included above (showing the cab rear and trailer hitch).
Whilst looking at various review videos from the original issue i remember seeing this, and at least 1 reviewer thought there was warping going on - however, to get the cab separated i had to undo these sections and felt no tension causing this at all. The plastics used also seem very good, so i put it down to intentional or accidental (but not problematic) molding just off straight.

No problem. Let us know what you think after.

If you mean the slider which extends the shoulder butterfly section about 1cm (ish) out from the body - yes, this was incredibly tough on my reissue copy. It loosened eventually, but the forces involved getting it out the 1st time were getting quite high so i dissassembled the entire section (including top part of the body) which is my preferred way of doing things with well made but stiff figures (so i am not applying force to other parts), and worked the slider open and closed until it worked to the tension i wanted. Sorry its not much help.

Yep that's the one. Bummer there isnt a fix. I know it doesnt affect functionality but my OCD is killing me seeing that gap.

It's the later (pulling out the joints - the metal hinges). I'm very sure it isn't all the way out bc I watched emgo transformation vid and it shows that the that metal joints need to be extended out even farther for transformation. Out of the box mine is only a little bit extended (the left shoulder).

Yep. That's the one I meant. It's feels like it's impossible to pull out. On my left shoulder it is only extended out a tiny bit out of the box (which is so tight that I can't collapse them or pull out all the way). I wonder if it's because I don't use enough force (don't want to cause any damages or stress) or maybe my copy is defective in that joints?

My reissue was like that out of the box on the right shoulder.

I got brave and I grabbed it near where it connected like so I don't rip the arm off, and very carefully pulled and it came out.

It's scary tight, but it's loosed up now. Just be cautious.

    Love this!

Sorry if this is common knowledge already but do we know how the parts for the combined mode are coming? I know they're coming with the last limbbot, what I'm not sure about is if they'll be like Zeta with legs and hips as one piece etc... after seeing this photo I think FT may have missed a trick if they haven't included the trailer within the exoskeleton (like XTB). If they had / do it can attach to the cab of Roadking once the backpack is removed?

Combiner bits are coming with the last figure as you stated but the skeleton of menasor will form a second trailer for motormaster.

I received my copy of the RK reissue yesterday and I just inboxed and transformed him tonight.

First thought: That’s a very involved transformation. I didn’t think I’d be getting him so I’ve previously seen a video of the transformation. I didn’t remember it all but it’s certainly easier having seen it since there so many moving pieces and so many things are squeezed in there in bot mode.

Bot Mode: he’s a big one that’s for sure. Hefty too. Great sculpting overall with nice details. Face could be better and there is limited head movement, but the rest of the figure looks great, a very good representation of Motormaster.

Truck Mode: Well, as expected, the trailer is a bit panelly. But it certainly is a great looking vehicle overall. Nice detailing on the cab and I love that he has 18 wheels. This mode is the reason I wanted the figure though (well, the fact that this mode TFs entirely into his bot mode specifically). I’m quite happy with it either way.

Overall: I think it’s a very good figure in both modes. The transformation can be a bit unwieldy at times since there are so many panels and parts hanging about but it’s worth it in the end, whichever direction you’re going.

A side note: the arm hinge piece that pulls out (discussed above) were quite easy to pull out on both sides on my copy.

And a couple (quick and poor quality) pics of him and his friends:
