Yup, needs a gun-hand.

 

Misfire, Triggerhappy, Slugslinger, Darkwing, Dreadwind & the 4 deluxe Insecticons are the ones I'm hoping for.

But 3rd party would rather keep making the same characters, that we no longer need, over & over & over again. 

 

We already have this guy from planet x, and to top things off if u go on bigbadtoystore.com both a and b parts are on sale.

 

I meant the actual nemesis not the exact one from the game. I should’ve been more specific. The game design was cool; but something more G1 inspired was what I ha in mind.

 

Honestly planet X didn't capture that ship too well. I would take a trypticon that turned into either the G1 ship or even better, the TF prime nemesis!

3p really has gotten boring. Like I said before: If they're just doing the same figures Hasbro keeps doing what's the point of third party companies at all anymore?

At least XTB has a pretty great list lined up. Provided they actually get made.

 

Which is how I justify buying 2 Spinister's. It's pretty rare to get characters outside the main roster!

3Ps are getting crowded, and as this industry grows, we will definitely see them playing it safe (like Hasbro).

The solution is to get out of MPs - the smaller figures require less investment, so 3Ps/Hasbro take more risks with obscure characters. For example, Rung. Cheapest scale = gets made; MP scale = snowball's chance in Hell!

Then again... after this one third-party conversion kit for Generations Jazz suggested that Shockwave can take over other body types... I thought it'd be cool to imagine Shockwave becoming like Braniac or Ultron, in that they could transfer their being among multiple machines. Personally, it gives me an excuse to have multiple Shockwaves in my collection, but have a story to it. (

 

That all arose because Alternators Jazz had a Shockwave repaint. Don't know if there was any story to it other than "Shockwave got the same car as Jazz." Creative idea you came up with though

 

That Shockwave kit for the Generations Jazz figure came up with the idea.

Wish I had gotten some SG Insecticon/Junkions a while back... I'd have modded that kit for a bike Shockwave.

I'm familiar with the original Binaltech figure. Did they offer a story detail for the repaint though? I had first heard of the idea from the mech ideas kit.

Hmmm, it looks like there could be a "missing clear chest cover".

 

...It is a very strange design.

Definitely nice for Shockwave to get a proper alt mode for once, instead of just a flying gun or Cybertronian "tank." But it's not grabbing me.

I appreciate the creativity, but there's just so many awesome figures coming out this year, this probably isn't even in my top 10.

 

The metallic purple is real nice touch, but the eye is very tiny. Black paint around it would've worked. It looks like it lights up though?

 

Definitely just buying this for the ship.
