I think it is likely that we will get BW S1 Megatron repaint, TLK Grimlock repaint, G2 repaint etc.

 

I just wish he had a red visor. Fits better with that mean lookin dino mode.

This will be the first 3rd part legends scale figure i purchase! I just wish it was upscaled to the original toys size, or even masterpiece scaled (with grimlock bigger is better)

This is actually a whole new mold. Obviously its bassed on the OG toy, but the proportions and a few detals are different. This mold actually matches the proportions of the cartoon a lot more. -and of course its in a new smaller scale.

 

Imagine this:

The head of the person you find least attractive is suddenly transplanted onto the body of the person you find most attractive. Or vice versa might be more appropriate (YMMV).

That's how I see this figure.

(I love Beast Wars, but find g1 such a mixed bag that it's mostly unwatchable.)

 

The good thing about Grimlock is that he has about a half-dozen iterations that, while styled like G1 Grimlock, each one has their own unique style. FoC and Cyberverse are interesting takes on the character.

That should release sometime next year, probably during the summer by my best guess.

Honestly like the weathered version a lot more. In that first custom pic that we saw from toyworld indicating this was a probable repaint for megatron the silver/grey areas looked almost white (probably due to lighting), and honestly I wouldn’t have minded that

 

Still looks pretty distressed to me.
Why do they keep showing off package art and then never put up preorders?

Oh my god, could ToyWorld just release one version of this figure already? Why not add T-Wrecks and Predacon to the list... or Megatron X  

 

So is this out yet? Babao doesn't have this listed as a pre order currently, and it says one sold so far, but I've seen no in the wild pics so far. Sorry for bumping this thread.

 

Quick pix and size comparison with POTP Slash and BMB OS Slash. Colours go pretty well with the FPJ/PX crew too.
