Has anyone who pre-ordered the Roadking re-issue from Kapow in the UK received theirs yet?

I think TFM Powertrain is equally good, because he has an insane engineering and it is also a triple changer. Roadking has a crazy engineering as well (whole truck transformation), but it isn't a triple changer.

Raisingforce's Motormaster seems to has the best of the aforementioned Motormasters in a single bot, but I will reserve judgment until he is finally released.

His combined mode is a mode

Let's not get too hung up about which is the best. Different people look for different things in their toys., whether it be playability, the transformation or just wanting something that looks good as a display piece. Besides, transformission and fanstoys are going for completely different aesthetics (transformission appealing to the idw crowd and fanstoys to g1 mp) and accomplish different things (one turns into both the cab and the trailer but loses out on combined mode while one only turns into a cab but has a trailer that turns into combined skeleton).

Wow! I don't have RK in hand yet, but if I'm seeing this correctly, it looks like the entire cab of the alt mode is formed from just the feet and shins of the bot mode? -- Yet with the XTB version, a cab that is roughly the same size transforms into a full bot that is nearly as large as RK's bot mode? How is that even possible?

Road King arrived today! It's an beautiful figure (and quite heavy) in hand! :)

Kinda scared the chrome will scratch off from the bottom of his feet, so he stands on paper, lol.

Time to check out some YouTube videos on how to transform this guy. :D

I've already taken off RK's backpack and now you got me thinking about disconnecting the cab and trailer. How hard (or easy) is it to put him back together in bot mode? Do you have to screw anything back together?

Supposedly the feet are actually made of diecast. Don't think there have been any reports of it scratching yet.

The XTB cab is actually a tad bit bigger than FT's. But also, since Capone and Road King utilize the trailer (or part of it), their cab portion's rear end is pretty much just a thin strip of metal or plastic with wheels attached. Gravestone on the other hand has a transformation closer to Optimus, with his rear section as thick as MP10's or MS-01's.

So there actually is quite a bit of mass to Gravestone, despite being just the cab. So honestly, I think its less GS somehow grows to ridiculous proportions, he's normal. Its that Road King has crazy brilliant engineering to stuff most of the cab into the front legs, and the rest of the trailer unfurl and then fold back together in a more compact form.

Very easy, with no screwing required (wish i knew a better way of easily saying that).
I opened up both sides of the back of the cab section (where the hitch connects / the sections between the 4 rear cab wheels) and on each side removed a small part that fits in here and screws onto the hitch, leaving 2 posts on each side of the hitch (trailer side).
In vehicle mode this leaves a 4 post hitch (still rotatable as pic below) which slots into the 2 sliders on the back of the cab.

When going to robot mode you are left with this from the trailer-
    20200123_172856.jpg
All i do is transform the half of the cab and slot it in the lower leg, then slot the 2 posts in and carry on as normal. I havent noticed any drop in integrity of the robot mode at all due to how its all designed.
In all fairness, it makes transforming much easier as you dont have the cab halves dangling around all the time - not sure it makes a difference, but i am careful to unlock the inner leg cover fully from the cab when going back to vehicle before i fully open it up, just in case its possible for it to move with the cover, but im probably being over cautious.

Yes, the half cab forms the foot and heel (which arent really that big for motormaster), and the rest slots into the space in the 2nd photo above.
I love the mass shifting antics of this figure - its alt mode is massive in terms of volume when compared to robot mode, and i also love the way they got the whole cab and trailer to incorporate into the robot, just like the cartoon. The back pack isnt really all that large for what it is. The only downside is a relatively lengthy transform, but one which i think is incredibly clever and well worth it.

Shitty phone pic (still overseas so excuse the mess in the background). This guy is really articulated but his overall posability feels limited by his foot tilt and his knees which I find a bit too gappy when going for a big bend. His foot should be able to tilt upwards more but the instructions mention how you could bang up the paint if the foot isn't positioned properly I'm kinda terrified of pushing it up.

Edit: I just noticed the paint chip on the right crotch plate and now I can't unsee it...

Another edit: Seem to be having trouble keeping the second set of pegs in the truck bed plugged together. Is that a common issue and is there a fix?

Yeah true but it’s still a mode that isn’t straight-up bot or truck form. There is some difference to it. There’s stuff you don’t do for truck or bot mode
    The crotch transforms
    The arms do
    The backpack
    The fake wheel area

Now Breakdown on the other hand.....
