I wouldn't have thought Studio Series falls under the CHUG banner but I've been wrong before.

Yeah, I mean if they turned G1 IDW into movies I’d be totally great with that, or movies that take elements from it. I was using blue text because I doubt movie studios will ever treat Transformers as more than explosion-y blockbusters. Bumblebee and TF2007 came closest, the rest not even by a long shot. I mean the other movies tried to do some neat things with overlapping history, but after a while it got boring.
So if a studio actually made a TF movie with the quality of lore from IDW, that’d be a godsend.

Amen. Saw the news after coming out of a movie. So damn sad, his daughter and teammate and teammate’s parent were on board. Absolutely tragic how the good ones always go too soon.

Hug your friends and loved ones today and everyday.

And R.I.P Kobe Bryant. He's in a better place now. We can leave this world at any moment. Live life to the fullest.

The "Constructicon Autobot" that appears in the TF5 film (Trench), is nothing more than the second reuse of the Scrapper mold... with the only modifications of the left hand / bucket, and the absence of wheels on the robot's legs (given that, the alternative mode is a crawler excavator)!

Trench also wears the CAT logo rather prominently on his chest.

If they could adapt All Hail Megatron, it would be incredible. Make it a two parter even.

At least a few members posted that they had assembly errors in their original copies several pages ago. I remember one member saying that they got a backwards double hinge piece in one or both of the door assemblies. I forget the errors that other members got.

It'd be cool to have a new Longarm, with movie accurate detailing!
Also make him come with missile launchers than can also fit on 2007 Bee's shoulders so you can properly recreate that "I drive you shoot!" scene.

I transformed SS-49 for the first time, to make sure mine was assembled correctly. It is, thankfully, but ummm....yeah I don’t wanna transform that guy ever again.
Does anyone else have a hard time getting the front fenders to push past the assembly the wings are mounted on? Holy smokes I thought I was gonna break those. Also, the singular gray bar the entire figure is rooted from bends really easy; don’t think it’ll break or anything, in fact that’s probably why Hasbro designed it to bend, but still.
So yeah...probably another nonconverter for me. Anyone else feel the same? I will say though, the Camaro mode is nice.

Got the same issues as you, however the "spine" doesn't bother me as much. I just take my time to rotate it and it doesn't seem to be tight or anything.
the front wheel things however, do. If the concerned parts didn't form the exterior of the car I'd have shaved some plastic off them.
Transformed him multiple times now and he's still okay.

That's why I've been holding that assembly in place when moving the front fenders back and forth with my fingers.

Well thankfully, the stuck waist freed up more after transforming, so that’s nice. It’s still tighter than I’d like, might use a drop of dish soap or shock oil if I can, but it’s easier than before.
And yeah, that’s why I didn’t cut them right then and there, it’d affect the car.

That’s what I did and it didn’t work very well, but I can try again another time. It was just way harder to overcome that step than I expected.

As far as appreciation goes, I feel like I don't do my part here very often, so here's some pics of the first Studio Series figure I got!
    p.s. Are we getting any new SS in MArch? WIN_20200127_14_40_05_Pro.jpg WIN_20200127_14_40_25_Pro (2).jpg WIN_20200127_14_41_44_Pro.jpg WIN_20200127_14_43_58_Pro.jpg
