Does anyone know how this guy measures up against TFC Prometheus? I love that figure, but he is tiny compared to my other combiners.

WAIT! Just spotted him next to TFM Havoc, that gives me the scale. I suppose the question is can you get the full set from anywhere? Last time I looked, showz and co were only selling hotspot.

Taobao has the complete set readily available for less than 700 Yuan without shipping. That's USD 100. IF you are interested, you can search using "TFC守护神".

Shame I haven't the faintest idea how to use that site. I'm UK based, but that seems like a damn good price. :(

Also I've no idea when it would be safe to order from China again, given New Year and Omega Virus lockdown. Probably have to leave it until things settle down... Or we're all dead.

Feels like GT gravity builder and hasbro predaking are wearing boots. While the other combiners are wearing flip-flops (sandals)

Well, I lowered my Gaurdia down to where it is supposed to be, the extended legs just didn't look right anymore. The stability didn't seem to change either. So if someone wants to put theirs up with the extended legs, I don't think you'll have anything to worry about, at least as far as stability goes.

Yup that's what I thought too. He looks like a scrawny bot or a circus clown robot wearing stilts lol.

Yeah no doubt we'll have a slight increase in height but proportionally it just looks off!

Anyone have this break? Was spending last night attempting to set up combined mode and this came off the left arm. The right arm is turning loose too. Any suggested fix?

Did it break, or did the screw back out and fall out. If its just the screw hole being stripped out, you can put a small piece of wire in the hole and run the screw back in. The wire forces the screw against the plastic giving it something to bite on.

It looks like it unscrewed, but the hole looks like it has some plastic stripped out. The screw doesn't have a + or - to be able to screw back in.

OK, looking a little closer it looks kind of like a rivet or a push fastener. Try putting it together and just pushing the fastener in the hole. If that don't work maybe find a screw that will fit it. Either way, good luck. I will be watchful of this on mine.

Also, when I read you're post, I wondered what the heck + and -(positive and negative) had to do with anything, Then I realized you were talking about screw heads.

I would look around and see if i could find a very small nut and bolt to really lock stuff down. I have fixed some really tragic breakages that way...

I thought it was an isolated case.

I've had decent luck in similar scenarios with filling the inside walls of the screw hole with super glue and letting it dry completely, then screwing everything back in place once there's enough solid material for the screw to anchor on to. You could always directly glue the tip of the screw down in place entirely, but it can significantly limit your ability to repair/modify it later.

Why do you leave Hotspot's thighs extended? Look quite bad in my opinion, it's not worth the increase in height.

Got this guy combined yesterday. Looks good next to Warbo, GT stuff. Right shoulder ratchet is bad. I'll never take this guy apart. Gonna take a week for my fingers to heal.

    *Update*
I was able to repair the rivet by replacing it with a slightly longer CM2.5 x 6 screw (I had a ton of these for laptop replacement screws). The original rivet is about 5mm long. I used a 6mm long screw as a replacement. I bored the hole on the arm a bit bigger because the screw is a tad wider, not by much. Screwed in the longer screwed, and he's repaired now. A lot more stable too, not so wobbly. Rotation glides nicely. Sigh. My not-Hotspot is sitting at my Post office right now. But it looks like I won't get him until tomorrow... No "out for Delivery" message usually means I have to wait ONe.... More............ Day..................
