Hes on his way along with mixmaster.

Loving the silver paint on him. Really excited to get this guy. Could be one of my favorite studio figures

Got this guy the other day. Not bad all around.
Paint is gorgeous, and both modes look pretty great. He's also fairly big, which is also nice.
Couple issues, though: wish he had more elbow bend. 90 degrees just doesn't feel like enough. either that or needed something in the wrist. Transformation's not the best, since it's a chore to get everything together. Nothing really securely tabs in until he's all together. Alt mode could've used a better base as well. He's resting on the robot mode chest, so he kinda wobbles around.

Aside from that, I like him. Again, he's bigger than I expected. I was genuinely impressed with the alt mode's size, especially. And that silver paint is so nice.

Funny. The day after I get my copy from Amazon, I found one locally.

The figure is a bit of a mixed bag for me. On one hand the paint is fantastic, and the face mold is equally cool. On the other, I hate how they reused the ROTF chest instead of doing a proper chest mold for the figure. That said, ignoring that one niggling issue, it's a downright fantastic figure. I am happy with the purchase.

Real quick update: Thankfully the shoulder is easily taken apart. The shoulder on my copy was tragically loose. I took a little clear nail polish to it and it's now fantastic -- Nice and tight. Also had to do a little surgery to the groin piece. Great figure.

REALLY a pain lining everything up in Vehicle Mode. Move the arms too far & the feet pop out. Move the feet back up & the thigh pegs are askew.

For those looking for a gun to pair this guy with, the shotgun that came with AOE Evasion OP fits in his hand pretty well. The stock of the gun kind of gets in the way, so I shaved it down a bit on mine until it sat how I wanted it.

    Mine landed yesterday.
I think it's an OK Voyager: not very fun, quite predictable, but it does its job well.

I'm not sure if I should get this guy. Does anybody think that he's better than the ROTF SS Megatron?

Most definitely. The RotF mold, while not bad, had issues for me in that the neck and leg armor all kept falling off. All the time.
This one is solid and has offered no issues at all. Plus, the silver paint is quite striking and the build itself is nice and solid.

Surprisingly this figure is actually my favourite Megatron figure, even over the MPM. He is a lot of fun and as others have said, the paint is really nice in person!

It’s strange, I’ve never even liked this design but I feel compelled to get this guy.

I'm sorry if this has been mentioned before and I can see many of you posting pics of him holding a shotgun, but is it easy to make him hold weapons (like the shotgun) or does it require a lot of effort?

I can one up you, I don't like the live action movies or their aesthetic. I haven't bought Studio Series figures (except Voyager Starscream on sale, since I had gotten the Deluxe version for free* and thought it was a clever transformation, so an upsized version for a low price and expiring offer was the best option), and I pre-ordered this figure and I rather like him.

I like the transformation, the deco, the size. All of it. I can't explain why at all.

*I had a Kohl's $5 off your purchase mailing coupon and they had a bunch of deluxes on clearance, so I got Classics Tracks and movie deluxe (DOTM?) Starscream and used the coupon, I pretty much just paid sales tax on them.

I just purchased and opened up my SS-54 Megatron recently, and I can say it's a pretty good figure with quite a solid build to him. As for someone who never owned a proper Bayverse Megatron figure bigger than a Legion-class sized ROTF Megatron toy, this figure does a pretty good job representing its on-screen counterpart from the movie for its price point.

QC-wise, my copy isn't exactly perfect as the shoulder joints on both sides of my copy was a bit loose and the "flail" part of the mace chain weapon thing occasionally likes to pop out. I do like how well-painted this figure really was with the bright silver and various shades of grey colors highlight the well-done detailing of this figure really well.

For its intended price point, it's a pretty nice figure for what it is.

I just got mine, and he had a massive chunk of plastic stuck to the front right of his forehead crest. I assume it was an improperly cut sprue nub. I had to clip it off, but now he has a small circle of unpainted plastic where it should be silver. I don't think touching it up will be too hard, though.

Still, that's a hell of a place to have the sprue connect on the mold.
