Well. It kinda works...
I spent far too long assembling the IW parts on to BA Prime, after anxiously refreshing the tracking number all week. I had to try out the combo for myself.
I balked when I heard in Emgo's review that it cannot be combined with anything other than the MPM/LT mold, I mean, obviously this kit is not meant for BA Prime, but the IG post gave me some hope.
I'm not so certain now as to the validity of the Instagram post saying no modifications were involved...
Some parts attach much better than others, and surprisingly so, parts I thought I'd have no trouble attaching were a real pain.
However, everything you see in the pictures is holding securely. I can even pose the afterburners, despite the whole apparatus not being able to clip in, it sits there just fine.
The worst parts have to be his shin armor, calf grate attachment things, and chest armor.
These pieces are tend to pop off more frequently than anything else, but they do stay on.
I rotated the orientation of the tire armor, as the instructed way doesn't cover the wheels as nice as the 180.
I cannot clip his BFG into his hand, but he can grip it, albeit not as tightly as if it were pegged.
The arm guns also clip on, not to the full extend the clip allows due to the redesigned arm parts, I followed the IG post for those, it was kinda tricky at first.
He stands solidly, despite the feet wedges needing to be opened up a touch to allow the clips to work.
The plastic quality leaves a tiny something to be desired, not sure how to explain it..
The set could've been packaged better too, unwieldy box and tray will be tricky to re-use...
I really do not want to put LT-02 on display again, as he's been decommissioned since BA Prime has been here, but there's no denying that this set is meant for that mold only.
I am full ready for an appropriately upscaled Jet Power set for BA Prime, as well as a new Trailer.
I'm kinda happy with it for now though..

 

That first pic actually looks great. I always thought that mpm04 looked to drowned out by all the parts. WJ prime looks really good with this set.

Do you need to cut them to get them to sit like that? I have mind at that angle, but I didn't need to cut anything...

 

It makes sense that it wouldn't fit perfectly as I recently found out the BA Prime is slightly larger than the original MPM mold. Nice to know it at least sort of works to an extent and does look very good!

 

What tools did you use to cut out that plastic?

 

Well, no, you don't really need to. It just makes it easier to turn them.

A sharp x-acto #1 blade should work.

 

Not very impressed with ShowZ's customer service. Thought these guys were supposed to be good.
So far I've been told to fill out the after sales form twice (even though I've already stated that I've done so) despite explaining that spare parts aren't going to work for my defective LS-03F because there's inaccessible pins holding the broken part together.
I've been given an email address to speak to a different person, which got bounced back to me after I sent it.
I have requested that I require a full replacement or a refund but haven't received a straight answer once.
At this rate I'll be making a claim through PayPal if I keep getting nowhere.

 

Anyone have experience with buying from capcomkai and know where to get in contact with them? That chest upgrade looks really good.
