They're theoretically supposed to be able to stick on their own but if you're having trouble, you can use micro-set.

Also, if they're not sticking well, you might need to clean the surface before trying to apply them. Windex or alcohol should work but, if it's a painted surface, be extremely gentle and use very little as either of those can remove paint.

I’m hoping the piece is not as critical as the two side pieces that hold it on. What were they thinking. It’s like a waxy plastic. Gosh if anything why not use a high or metal

That's what I thought but they're not showing the slightest hint of sticking.

I used a smidgen of Sticky Tuff Remover on Overheat's front bumper and I was getting red residue of my cleaning bud!

Thanks ever so much for the advise. :thumb

Finally got this guy in from Baba. First impression is he looks pretty pretty good from the front, he is pretty proportionate body wise. That backpack could have had panels to fold flush since there are wasted chest space. Next to Roadking he looks like a brute. Roadking has short upper body and longer thicker legs making him look kinda deformed next to Gravestone.

However, I have a missing pin for his right pinky making him look like a recruit for the Yakuza.

Had a similar pic in the Assaultus thread, but I noticed the top two fingers of Gravestone's left hand were folded in while the bottom two where out, so it looked like he was missing two fingers, so I redid it:

Transforming Gravestone for the first time. I’ve watched all the videos in all the different languages. I can’t get the the collar to tan into the chest. It just keeps popping out. What am I doing wrong?

Gently pull upwards on the bumper section of his back, and this should help with getting the front to tab in

thanks. That helped, but’s it’s still not quite flush. I can still see a bit of the tab.

Looking at everybody else’s pics, it looks like this is as good as it gets.

Despite all the reports of a stress mark there have been 0 break reports on the hinge. There has been 1 break report of the circle piece below it that is for the waist swivel, but that is not due to the stress mark.

well, sometimes the brutes get a finger cut off for disobedience, it could work, lol. but yea, that does suck, glad mine didn't have any issues besides the missing normal face.

That part should have been diecast, not the thighs or those 2 little black seperate pieces on his inside legs. Those are head scratching moments that didn't been need to be seperate pieces

Thanks. I feel better about it knowing that. I'd feel a lot better if XTB offers replacement part(s) that made of sterner stuff soon.

Hopefully XTB will make some changes for the toy and G2 versions. I am not optimistic though.

Finally transformed Gravestone today. The waist issue does annoy me, but otherwise, I hold him in high regard. He's on par with Roadhead for me; there are aspects of each that I prefer, but they both pull off the character's aesthetic very well.

Roadking is so much better, I was kind of disappointed with Gravestone. The chipping paint on the chest and stress mark on ab crunch, got me like  .

Looks like for me with XTB, I'm going to use the toon versions as my combined mode and the Toy deco as my individual robot mode.

And then I'm going to commit pure blasphemy by making the G2 repaints as part of the Autobot. OMG!
