Has anyone else noticed a little bit of extra play in the ratchets of one knee? On my copy the upper knee joint on the figure's right knee has a fre extra degrees of play between the teeth compared to the left.

 

Man, sovereign came with one of the worst instruction booklets ever. There are tons of missing steps. Thank goodness for video reviews.

 

Can I ask a favour please, save me trawling youtube. My old Sovereign has a tight back pin on his rear "horn" in robot mode, so it stays firm. My Sovereign M, 2 copies of it, both have slack pins, so his backpack droops down. It looks like it should peg in, but cant reach. Am I being an idiot here ?

 

No, you're good.
My M version is the same and there have been a few other people mention it on here, the grey cannon leg that folds up does peg onto his back via the long vertical tab, on the M one tho its super tight.
There are also secondary tabs that secure it tho, on the side of the arm. Takes a bit of finagling but the blue sections peg onto those when you get them lined up, even if you're not tabbed onto the other one.

As long as you get those 2 tabbed in its rock solid.

Righty, then. Got the replacement parts fixed up, so Sovvy M now transforms fine. Now he's complete, I found it was a similar situation to Quietus T, for me. Once I had the new version on the shelf, it was impossible to go back to the old figure. The presence of this figure is something else.

Anyway, thought I'd post a crappy picture to get some closure. Apologies!

Such an awesome figure, with so much character and presence.

 

Just got this guy in today! got him for $210 and damn is he a beauty! Much heavier than anticipated. The transformation is quite complex but I dig it and the cannon mode, while not without it's flaws, is pretty neat. This will definitely be my MP Galvatron for a while! Now I just need to find a decently priced Quietus to go with him. I'd prefer not to go over $180 for him despite that not being likely lol.
