For fun I decided to put all my HFTD, SS, Nest Alliance and other movie figures back in vehicle mode. It was annoying as fuck but I have to admit it bought back memories and was fun as hell

 

Why were they so insistent on making him a Lambo when he could’ve been some cool custom MadMax looking thing.

Yeah, they could've used it for another KSI drone like Stinger; those aren't Decepticons either. I think the Aventador works for Lockdown, but an "End of the Road" '70s/'80s muscle car would've been better. Drift would've been better as a Nissan 370z or Subaru R34 or maybe even an old Civic too, IMO; (Bugatti Veyrons aren't really known for drifting) plus Bumble's 2014 Camaro form is shit, he should've kept the '67 Camaro.

 

I thought I was the only one who hayed AOE Bees design.

 

I'm talking about specifically the 2014 Camaro car design from AoE being trash. But yeah the robot mode is pretty bad too.

He really, really should've kept the '67 Camaro form for AoE.

 

Damn how long has it been since I posted pics here? Recently grabbed Soundwave and as someone who was lucky enough to acquire the original deluxe, this is definitely an upgrade.

Do we still need an SS version for the ROTF design? This figure looks good enough to be an SS figure lol

Yea I really liked the older Camro in that movie. It's my second favorite vehicle mode of his.

Ya know I always wondered something. Woill we ever get a TLK SS version of Bumblebee?

 

As nothing of a character Lockdown was the Avendator fits way more imo. A Mad Max car is better suited if Lockdown was a gruff Clint Eastwood type like in Animated.

 

SS shockwave looks good enough that is black mamba did an upsized ko of him I would debate getting it for my mpm collection. It looks like he’d fit right in.

 

An oversized KO with minor improvements seems inevitable.

 

Yeah I would be shocked if they didn’t, as long as they get rid of the soft plastic and add some better articulated hands it would fit right into mpm I think

 

Whats Whats good everyone happy friday! Mixmaster is back down to 29.99 at amazon. I ended up returning my 07 megatron. I originally did not want to buy 07 megs due to the legs, but got convinced that the paint job will make him worth it. After initially being impressed (the leg engineering was great) the chunky legs came back to haunt me. I might pick him up again sometime in the future but mixmaster and shockwave have moved up in my priority list...

His height is close to being perfect. If they come out with a ko of the same height or 10% larger with improvements and LED lights it will be VERY hard to resist.

 

I gotta disagree about AoE Bumble's weapon; I love ROTF Megatron's murder arm and was happy to see it homaged with AoE Bumble, plus I think he should always have some sort of stinger. But otherwise I dislike AoE Bumble's robot mode. Not as vehemently and scornfully as you do, but I abhorr his 2014 Camaro mode, and therefore the robot mode too just by association. The ricer garbage Camaro from TLK is worse by tenfold, though.

IMO, Bayverse Bumble's best design is a tie between the '67 and '76 Camaro forms, but I'm biased because I don't think the modern Camaro looks good in yellow at all. Really, the '67 form is the only one that looks cool to me. Outside of that, the only aesthetically pleasing thing about Bayverse Bumble to me is his original battlemask. Not that I dislike his general design, I just don't particularly like it either. Bumblebee works better as a visually unassuming character who stands out through his actions rather than by looking cool.

I was excited for blackout, dotm prime, soundwave most of the constructicons and shatter and dropkick because of their vehicle modes
