I don't blame TCP. I assume they received it just like that and tried as quickly as possible to get all of the pre-orders out.
And yes, I expect a replacement -- has never been an issue with them before, so I am not concerned. But getting it will take some time (if there is stock left).

Okay, I was able to mess with Incursus a bit tonight after all.

-transformation is pretty straightforward
-some of the tabs are absurdly tight, I might shave some of them down a bit
-once again, instructions skip over some stuff, but it's not as bad as Fraudo
-damn he big

Normally I'm all for toon accuracy but I can't say no to all that delicious silver paint. It's gorgeous.

So like, do the instruction-writer-guys, not talk to the guys-who-designed-it team, or what?

 

I'm much more fond of G1 toy accuracy, so this looks wonderful to me. But the upgrade kit does seem rather expensive!

 

I would have much preferred just buying an Onslaught that came with the right parts to begin with, which it sounds like might have been the plan at one time, but it just didn't make economic sense from MMC's perspective to do it that way.

 

This set in general is pretty expensive when you compare it to other combiners that are much larger. I mean I know why, quality and all that, but a 18” bruticus that costs Around $600 isn't for me. I'll most likely buy brawl and maybe vortex for bot modes and that's about it.

 

I think it’d be better if they just get rid of instructions and just stick to video manuals from Paik. Saves paper and printing resources also.

 

I think I'll wait until for Emigo's review before transforming Incurus.

Haven't transformed him yet, but here he is with tfm motormaster and TT Streak+ for alt mode size comparison  

 

I genuinely really wonder how big those Military style trucks are in real life? Bigger than an 18 Wheeler?? (And NO I'm not trying start the "Whole it's not in scale with the other MP cars debate.") Really am curious about how big those trucks are IRL.
