As much as I prefer to compare to the original, how's it in transformation? Any breaks, stress marks, area that feel soft or brittle or simply in that could snap on you? Loose joints, too tight, accessories attach fine, etc?

Dinobot has issues that you would find out while transforming it. From your picture, it does look great though.

16:56 Left shoulder has a mini gap. Some of you that try to transform him in dino mode might find it a wee bit hard to close all the gaps.
19:00 The springs on the hip plate is not as springy as the official.

Overall quite good, tight joints, everything snaps in, paint is good.

 

I have noticed marks on the robot modes crotch that look almost like the start of stress marks, which I know the legit Takara version suffers from. It could just be the plastic Toymage have used.

The swivel joint that separates the upper and lower robot body as part of the transformation was very tight out of the box, but I managed to get it moving.

Everything else though is solid. It has all the Die cast of the original, and some really solid rachet joints. It doesn't come with any instructions though.

 

Thanks for posting that info. Bummer on the crotch. Its one of the biggest reasons I haven't opened up the official one and I'm sure what everyone else wanted to be improved.

I like the lack of insignia. I mean MP32 doesnt have any insignia in his body so i think megs shouldnt have insignia too

 

I’d agree if Megatron wasn’t massively fighting for the Predacon cause- so displaying his allegiance so boldly is quite fitting for his character.

I can't get the alternate heads to go on properly. I forced 1 a little and struggled to get it off. The second goes on but can't get down all the way.. I dunno, maybe I'm not doing something right, but the one it's shipped with slips on beautifully.

Here you go   You can definitely see what look like stress marks in the Plastic. Toymage claimed to have fixed the Crotch cracking problem and the loose waist swivel.

 

how does the plastic feel compared to taktom MPs? or other tfs
