I had ruled these out because I'm not a massive ROTF Constructicon fan and I figured there would be some cheap OS SS Constructicons later, but seeing Mixmaster painted up so well has me tempted.

I caved and ordered split off of agabyss since they have him in stock right now. Was gonna stick to SS, but just got bit by the "why not both" bug with the above images of them compared.

 

Custom regular SS? No OS at all?

 

Yeah it's a custom original ss. The only OS of that ss mold is MPM prime sized, which mixmaster is the same size as (if not smaller).

according to my showz tracking this guy made it to LA. i wasn't expecting it to leave customs till after CNY

 

yeah, the devvie head is really surprisingly small... always thought it'd be of the size that can swallow the SS version...

 

My last Overload was pretty bad looking back on it. Don't know what I was thinking... Updated.

 

Got mine and I got to say, it's a weak recommend to mild stay away rating from me. Feels a bit thin material wise, and has a hell of a time fitting together. I usually love transformations that make others cry, but there is no fun at all with this one. On the plus side, if you get him to head mode, he's very solid and will make a great devestator to never transform again.

I will continue this set, but if you're on the fence the studio series is far more fun.

so..... I just recently saw a tease from TFevo from 2018 and... is it just me, or is it likely these guys ended up being bombusbee/devil savior? they certainly wanted a movie devestator, and the timeline would add up....

 

Could be a posibility....or maybe they want to do their own Devastator
