I hope you could tell that was a joke. Mostly.

When you look at how successful Vader actually is. It’s not very. Looking like a badass is pretty much his whole shtick.

In which case, you could make the argument that Kylo Ren started from the position of having already achieved his entire goal of being "the new Darth Vader", then blew it by taking off his mask ;)

Hahahahaha. He is a great actor though. Could you imagine if Lucas had him for the PT?

He didn't try hard enough, though. Why were his original limbs still attached? :X

I know you can’t judge a movie by its quote, but today, I really felt the lines from Qui-Gon, Kanan, Ben, and Yoda telling Rey to “rise” and that she’s got this. It was empowering and epic and inspiring to imagine the Jedi telling me to rise.

Or at least it was as I struggled to haul my lazy ass out of bed at 4:34 AM for work.

3rd viewing today and I just noticed that Ren used an OT TIE fighter to get off Endor and get to Exogol. Must have been a bunch in the hangars of the ruins of Death Star 2.

Yeah I actually really liked that scene where he parks his tie next to Luke’s x-wing. It was like two old enemies meeting up one last time to fight the real threat. Kind of a cool nod whether intended or not.

The RoS definitely gets better with each viewing.

Nevermind that the OT TIEs didn't have, y'know... Hyperdives.

Who cares about making sense? XD

No no, that's the old canon. This is the new canon. Everyone has a hyperdrive now.

It’s been 30 years TIEs can’t get hyperdrives? Come on. They even expanded the cannon to say the FO doesn’t consider TIEs and their pilots disposable like the old Empire.

Except that was not a first order TIE, he got it from the Death Star... Somehow.
That's like trying to start a car that has not been driven for 30 year.
And also the garage exploded and fell from orbit.
It's hilarious how anything remained intact from the second Death Star.

That's 2 generations more than what the sequels gave is. Seriously, 20 or so years and we are back to evil Empire 2.0 with Palpatine and Vader 2.0 destroying planets with a Death Star 2.0, and the rebels being small and weak.
A conparison - it's been now 30 years Hungary has been a free country and the Soviet soldiers left the country. In SW terms the sequels would be if there would now be a new Soviet Union bombing us to kingdom come and conquering our cities right now, as if nothing happened.

It definitely came from the Death Star and not any of the First Order deserters already on the exact same planet?

Just dropping this here on this note...

Yep we still have Force Awakens, Rogue One and later toys here. Now discounted to less than 50% of their original value.
    Guess which ones, btw...
Remember when the original or Prequel and Power of The Force had various cool aliens, droids and people in snazzy armor, even if they were background nobodies? The sequels had boring ol' human upon human and some unappealing bland too human looking aliens. Say what you will about Canto Bight - yes I hated that subplot too - I would probably buy a lot of the weird aliens seen in the casino. Same goes for the ones in Solo's tavern scene, or those many droids shown in the mines.

I ain't an expert but other people in this topic said it was the old model.

Hasbro lost money on TLJ and this time they didn't even bother with 3.75 for ROS except for the Vintage Collection. Of course one could say that the reason was 3.75 mass market line being this 5POA embarassment... But they didn't push too many ROS designs even in their articulated 3.75 and 6-inch collector lines.

But then, why would they invest in making more designs that don't sell? The Sequels fanbase isn't crazy about the merchandise.

Or that Luke's X-Wing was sitting in salt water for the better part of a decade, and missing a wing, or that it being operable means he didn't have to mortally exert himself Force Projecting across the Galaxy in TLJ...
