I will second the desire for human figures from at least the G1 cartoon. And in 3.75” scale (or larger) with full articulation.

 

Yes my thread is about the new G1 Vintage reissue. The ones you see at Walmart, Target wherever. Its not that hard to understand, Faker II.

I have seen people use the term retro to apply to things relating to the past, but not necessarily being an exact copy. In that respect, Generations could apply. I was merely trying not to assume what you meant. And as I stated, either way, my answer remained the same.

Megatron in classic gun mode for the new Vintage G1 reissue whatever the fudge you want to call them, even though it might not happen but you never know. Hasbro really needs to do it. I remember back then when I was a little kid, old gun Megatron was a bit complicated to turn into a gun at the time.

 

I'd like repaints as other G1 characters. For example Springer as Drift based on Guido Guidi's artwork or Prowl as Barricade.

Wheeljack repainted as Slicer and Exhaust.
Crosshairs as Ironhide.
Boss as Getaway.
Sideswipe as Breakdown, RID 2000 Rev or Armada Wheeljack.
Red Alert as Siren who was supposedly a homage to Red Alert.
Pretender Bumblebee as Bugbite and Glyph.
Rumble as Ruckus.
Tracks as Backstreet.
Triggerhappy as Needlenose.
Scorch as Armada Red Alert and Turbofire.
Grimlock as Overkill.
Sunstreaker as Dead End.
Sideswipe with a retooled head as Sunsteaker.
Smokescreen as Flash, Rapido and Skram.
Jazz retooled as Kick Off.
Sideswipe retooled as Hot Rod.
Thunderclash as Motormaster.
Scorch retooled as Crankcase.

Before anyone gets over excited, it's been established that this thread is a wish list.

 

G1 Megatron will never be released outside of Japan, certainly not in America. If I were you, I'd consider looking on eBay for one of the Takara reissues. I have one and it's great. The joints are super squeaky tight, and the stickers are all perfect. At any rate, You will never see G1 Megatron on wal-mart shelves again. It's just too gnarly of an issue and Hasbro has stated that it's not gonna happen. They even made a mock up for G2 in really garish colors, but that didn't even pass.

 

I can't think of an example of Hasbro doing this. Though Takara has with that mini cars set as Go-Bots, Hauler, and a few others. I'd love to see some repaints. My top picks would be Powermaster Ultra Mangus, Pretender Thundercracker, Pretender Skywarp, Pretender Stepper (Ricochet), and European excl. Action Master Thundercracker from the standard seeker mold.

 

the new 30th Anniversary Megatron is fine since hes in robot mode but he still has the stupid tank transformation. I guess that's halfway good enough to me but Im not fond of the whole tank form for Megatron. His true transforming mode was and will always be the luger gun.

I'd love to see G1 Dinobot reissues but since those molds are supposedly no longer available, it's mainly wishful thinking.

But as for G1 reissues I'd like to see: Sixshot (with a retconned "submarine" mode of course   )
