Nickel and dime for the the additional packs. I wonder if they'll provide an option for a bundled option for all the packs.
So if past releases are any indication: The Red Frame's Flight pack was 7150yen on the "Alternative Strike" reissue that's supposed to be released now. I suspect that each of the Striker Packs (Sword/Launcher/Lightning/Lohengrin) will be in that ballpark. The Red Frame Kai as part of the "Alternative Strike" label due out in March was 27500yen. Seeing as how the Blue Frame Second L Revise has essentially similar components, I figure that it'd be in that price range as well.
Might be down for Full Armor 78 if Bandai goes full on Okawara style. I've liked Katoki designs for the last 20+ years but I'm starting to see the charm in Okawara's original designs
i honest to god don't know anything about what this is or what it does but i kinda want a racing game made out of this
still doesnt really tell me what 'it' is, but i guess i'll read it, but it honestly doesnt look as cool anymore... but...maybe if we were to add handles on the 'thingies' pointing outward: then maybe just maybe we'll be able to get the ball rolling again...
Oooooh. THAT's what you were asking. From what I gather, most of the backpack, including the shoulder-pods, are battery packs. So it's not like it's a weapon there, so I don't think handles will be useful there. The weapon is a rail-gun that separates into two halves, and stores connected to the forearms.
ah alright alright i get it from both that and the article. But in the end i think what i'm personally trying to get at is that i want a gundam series where the mobile suits are used as the racing vehicles. That would be cooooool a guy can dream
And for a more in-franchise example, Gundam Build Fighters did have an episode where the elimination round was switched out for a racing format.
Managed to open, played with it a bit, oh man, such a masterpiece! This thing is heavy, looks alive with all the details, lots of gimmicks, wow! Will do the maintenance mode later on
Just got into Metal Build and the scale is confusing me. The Jiang Gao Sazabi is written as 1/100 scale yet it looks the same size as the 1/72 Poison Toys Kampfer. Would the Metal Kingdom GAT-X105 Strike Gundam be a lot smaller than the Sazabi or the same size?
sazabi is almost 26m, the kampfer is 18m. Strike is 17.7, its going to be a lot shorter than the sazabi.
Does anyone else here have the Poison Toys, Maninc Cyclops (Kampfer)? If so, have you figured out how to change or install the battery in the head? I am hesitant to start prying the seams since the paint is so gorgeous. For anyone on there fence, get it!!!! Best metal build I have ever dealt with, including all the Bandai ones (cant speak for Mtl Strct Nu)
