I very much think this is eye of the beholder territory. What do you think is the right height for the figures you want in your collection? I do mix and match between the different lines. But mainly that's DX9/MST/IF and the odd MFT for me. It looks to me as if NewAge as a whole are actually closer to the Sunbow scale if that's your thing. To me, I don't buy that Prowl and the other car bots are waist high to Optimus. So the MST scale works better for me. Meanwhile there are others that care more if their alt modes match up. That's why I say it's your opinion that matters. I'm getting NA Outback but I'll be waiting for MST to get around to Brawn. Yes that means they won't match in height. I suspect MST Brawn will be more in their Cosmos/Huffer range anyway but it's a guess. But that works for me. I'm happier if those two don't look like identical twins. And who really knows if MST will do Outback or not. They don't always do the obvious repaints.

PS there are still others who don't care about scale that much at all and just get what makes them happy. I can get that. It's the reason I have NA Jazz sitting on my desk. But I find it jarring to mix him with my other Legends figures.

 

Sold out, it would seem. Which isn't too bad, postage from North America (even Canada instead of the US) is absurd.

 

I'm really hoping we see Gears and Windcharger from Newage. Also Cliff is still Waaaaaaaay overdue

I want PowerGlide and Warpath before those two, for minibots. Otherwise I want Hound, Mirage and Sideswipe.

 

I'm ok with the Hasbro Powerglide myself. Same with the Insecticons.

 

Nice, just ordered from toydojo. Keep em coming newage. Gimme my sidewipe/sunstreaker. Sunstreaker needs more love.

 

Agree on Powerglide. He could be done better, but I like him at that size.

NA's Insecticons, however, are way too awesome. And it was a couple of dollars more than these two for Three figures! Hard to pass up, and I'm glad I got them. The Hasbro ones are nice, though, if not mixed up in design and color.

 

That’s my biggest problem with the Hasbro ones.

 

indeed, especially gears. and IF is soon to release Powerglide and from the first pics he seemed just about the same size as their cliffjumper.
this however leaves hasbro gears a bit oversized. the insecticons on the other hand i prefer hasbro to the mini new age ones.

With MMC it was Guzzle getting all the love and Brawn getting sold, times have changed!

 

Eh, times haven't changed... People are being consistent. They want the primary version of the mold more than the retool.

Yeah been thinking about cancelling my pre-order for the turtles.. £60+ a lot when there's other 'real' transformers that will be out around that time that I could use the funds for.

The gas tank pegs in, But the instructions don’t show what to do with it in robot mode and it unfolds. But I don’t know how it’s supposed to be used.
