Mixmaster's Amazon price is obviously wrong. ToyWiz also has him at the same 100% mark-up price.

Ages 3 and Up has him in stock now with $3 mark-up:
    https://www.agesthreeandup.com/transformers-generations-studio-series-voyager-mixmaster/

BBTS has him only as part of a set with a total $3 mark-up:
Transformers Studio Series Voyager Wave 8 Set of 2 Figures

Various other places, including EE, are still sold out or pre-order at time of this post.

Cheapest is stalking Walmart. Target and Meijer will eventually get him.

Im having a real terrible time trying to figure out how to attach mixmasters head to scavenger. Like the instructions aren't real clear how far the strut things need to be moved near the shoulders where the "rods" are where the backwheels of mixmaster attach too. I can't really seem to be able to connect it without unconnecting/unpanneling everything on mixmaster in head mode

Same with me. I've given up connecting him by the clips and just use the rail on Scavanger and sandwich it between mixmaster's tires. It looks like it's supposed to do both the tires and the clips, but nothing lines up and Mixmaster all tabs apart.

Ah nice ...just got an update that Amazon is delivering Scavenger this afternoon, pushed back from earlier this month.

Alrighty, you know the bar that's below Scavenger's head? There's a cut in it to allow it to compress together.

    20200121_020456.jpg

Now, don't peg in Mixmaster's feet into their slots yet as this will give you far more space to work.

    20200121_020558.jpg

Peg the bar into one wheel.

    20200121_020624.jpg

...and push the other one in.

    20200121_020658.jpg

Now that you have the wheels pegged into the bar, use it as a pivot point to force those clips in with your thumb.

    20200121_024301.jpg

Once everything is clipped in, peg in Mixmaster's feet and the top cab.

    20200121_020814.jpg

This is how it should look from the back:

    20200121_020924.jpg

Note that I've found that Scavenger's wheel struts are the perfect length to act as a locking mechanism to lock the two wheels together. Otherwise, the waist assembly and shoulder assembly will be rather loose.

    ...and from the front:

I suspect the upper torso when full completed should collapse like this around overload bringing his shoulders down for easier articulation at the shoulder so he goes from this 20200120_151331.jpg to this 20200120_150923.jpg 20200120_151241.jpg

So in other words from this
    20200120_151632.jpg
    To this 20200120_151703.jpg

Thats what I was stuck on, the first step with that compression bar. It wasn't clear if the wheels were actually meant to be attached to it like that, and some reviewers had it pushed forward to where the only attachment was by the clips on the back of Mixmaster in some of their vids.

I'm so sorry if this has already been asked/answered before but does anyone with Scavenger know if these clips on the rear of Mixmaster get used in the torso combination?

no I don't think they do since they end up in a position that isn't really useful. If anything they might be used with the neck armor that comes with overload

The thing is, the shoulders already have a place to peg in. They peg into the lower wheel struts and this eliminates any gaps and fills out the body.

I get the impression once we've got all 8 Constructicons we'll get an official combination video.

    Apparently not.

You're basically using the wrong shoulder joint in all of these photos. The joint you're deriving all your shoulder mobility from is one that's meant to be completely immobilized when he forms his combiner mode, by pegging what had been the tops of Scavenger's shoulder pads onto big tabs on the tips of what you might call his knees. I think you'll find that this gives him a more solid silhouette that will hold his shoulders up in an imposing shape.

It's in the instructions, but was overlooked in both of the convention prototype displays we've seen that used the test shots of Overload and Scrapper.

Ironically what their pics were showing with that shoulder idea were used in one of the mistransformed displays. Maybe thats where they got the inspiration from? But ya I'd have agree as well, the way the pegs/tabs are IIRC aren't used for the Scavenger's bot/vehicle mode in such a way to where where it'd have to work the way the instructions show it otherwise.

Imposing shape I will give you that. Just looks odd when you try to pose him in a slamming his fist pose or any pose with his hand facing forward or parallel with the head in any pose

    I mean it's like this with instructions 20200121_191156.jpg 20200121_191115.jpg 20200121_191648.jpg 20200121_191243.jpg

Maybe he'll look less stupid posed fully combined

I got doubles of Hightower and scrapmetal just incase scrapper was released last and months later instead of overload

Also if you ever need a thing to call me. Feel free to use the pronouns she and her if you wish

No ill intentions when I did that, just more out of not knowing, and also I'm just used to not doing it alot because at my job recently management has actually advised us not use gender specific pronouns like "sir, ma'am, etc" with all these people now and days that might get offended if you refer to them as something other than what they identify as. We won't necessarily get in trouble if we don't, they just told us to do what we can to avoid getting into any type of conflict with customers. Amazing how things are now with the times we live in and steps we have to do to protect ourselves at work <_<
