Both are scammers.
eBay already suspended one seller, dragging their feet on suspending the other.

Got refunds for both.

I've ordered from one day bid at least a half dozen times. Always a decent price, good communication, and never a problem.

 

Yeah, 2 sets. As I recall, the only real differences in the 2 are a more detailed little Scorponok, and a small scale playset, which is mostly useless in bot mode, but is a very fantastic bottom cover (extreme partsforming) in helicopter mode.

Showz have got it up for preorder too with a final price, was looking for page about figure when came across your post, did you have any luck confirming it or not?

 

I think you’d be all good pre ordering it from Baba but probably better to go through his site as the eBay listing might disappear before release and the info won’t be at hand.

According to a leak in the XTB Springer thread he’s coming out around summer after Kup and the Motor master trailer and a Quintesson. So looks like for sure this year at least

 

I think szzdjwl-99 might've actually gone bad. I placed an order with him December 18 for which he provided a fake tracking number, and never heard anything

 

But they have such a legitimate sounding username that they must have put a lot of thought into when choosing it

Does he do this (or similar) promotion every now and then, or was this like something that was always there, but he finally got around to ending it?

Well, gonna need a bit of context then. Did you order something that might not be in stock or a preorder? They've removed all listings as many Chinese sellers have for the CNY shutdown, and no parcels really move in that time. And when you say a fake tracking number, does it not show any movement at all, or just no NEW movement? Have you tried the tracking number on 17Track or Parcelsapp?

 

Discounts are always nice, but with the added tax on most Ebay purchases now, you might be better off ordering from their own website instead of through Ebay if it's available there. Not much of a price difference between their site or Ebay, though, mostly just the tax difference.

He had 5% off MMC Stray re-edit, it was in my cart all week.

I was about to pre-order this afternoon, and it was back to 87.99. Not a big deal, lol, but still .  

 

My state was one of the last holdouts, but just added their 6% sales tax to most all online purchases at the start of the year. To add to this annoyance, Ebay just announced their current Bucks bonus this year.... for 5% bonus Bucks... Not the usual 6, 8 or especially 10% like in the past, which would have at least SLIGHTLY offset the cost of sales tax, but now, it pretty much doesn't for any state that collects online sales taxes.

 

Yes, the tracking number was invalid, varified by China Post Item was in stock, and ordered well before CNY was even on the radar

 

Still, hard to say one way or another. Could have been a case of them providing a random number to receive PayPal payment and will ship it over available after CNY now.

 

Doesn't seem like like a better deal compared to his previous $5 off $70. It's better to get $5 of $50 to buy direct from his non-Ebay website. Not to mention his website doesn't charge sales taxes to many US states like Ebay now does.

 

My hope is with the added taxation that the number of sales on Ebay will cause enough of a sales decline that they'll further expand their own online store and offerings there instead of to Ebay. I'm honestly kinda surprised with the popularity of ShowZ and TF-Direct that Baba's own site hasn't gotten more attention over time.
