i got a chance to mess with lightening and skycrow today i do like them but that whole abcrunch pelvis area leaves a lot to be desired, probably the only thing id change about them the rest is perfect or the rest is so small it's not even worth mentioning

 

every figure has flaws we all get that. but to me these are far better then those crappy floppy MP-11 seekers. even those KO were a little bit better but nothing like these are so far.i need to find lighting yet so i can complete this series.

 

Meteor reissue showed up at TFsource 'really' hoping lightning and skycrow get reissued next. Please take my money Maketoys!

So I hear the recolors of this after Starscream have been pretty janky?

 

Thundercracker and Skywarp are fine, though there might be the odd flop. Solarflare - the crowdfunded one - has got and miss QC.

They have just released their first Conehead, Endgame, and other than some hip skirt shenanigans it seems to be fine. I just hope they can put out their other two...

 

Skycrow is fine

lightening for ME has a couple of little niggling issues, ie the pelvis is loose and annoying, the wings at the screw are loose, just little things, however the one real issue i have is lightenings feet are on a double hinge which are super fucking tight

but ive got him posed up now on the shelf and he is fine, i dunno if id bother with these if you cant get them for a good price, i wouldnt go paying crazy after market prices for them they aint worth it, but if you can get them at retail or close to retail why not, they shit all over the takaras

 

I know! And it’s already sold out. Please Maketoys reissue the other boys lightning and skycrow

 

Maketoys if you're reading this, please make a replacement head similar to that of mp44's starscream. If it's a little too big then make it transformable so that it fits when you transform the figure. I guarantee you'll have people buying 3 or 4 of these.

 

maybe some one can make a mold for the back side of these maketoys seekers so that way it would look more toon accuracy looking so you can hide the but flap or something would be neat.

 

Actually, somebody did that. Made it so the buttflap folds in half. That was so long ago I don't remember who did it.

Firstly the whole tfexpress thing has really pissed me off, pre ordered a month in advanced then when its due it magically gets stolen????!!? lol
But yet it turns up on tf source? that dont smell right to me, the only store to get this reissue is tfsource, in the whole damn WORLD? pfff come on

Then look at one day bid on ebay had 5 supposedly then they went out of stock pressuming not sold because they were sat there for a good couple of weeks none sold, so that ruined that plan

So i go to robottoybase oh look they have him i order, above the price i really wanna pay but i though sod it why not, make my order, guess what?

I'd wait for a reissue or for Takara to do a v3 Starscream...then these should be readily available for a reasonable price.

 

got my meteor wing fillers in today. now he is done. hope they reissue lighting again soon so i can have them all.

 

Not sure if any of you are interested, but I'm getting out of the Transformers scene after a few years of collecting. Anyway I have all 5 Maketoys Seekers boxed I'm going to be selling on eBay this week. Not sure how much these guys go for now so any of you able to help with what I should stick them on at?
