More to the point:

We’ve had deluxe Scourge before.

He can be too-short or he can be gap-filled.

I don’t foresee an improvement over Titan Returns at the deluxe size class and I don’t think Hasbro would be afraid to charge $30 for a short Voyager Scourge vs. a gap-filled very tall Deluxe Scourge.

At the deluxe price point, he’ll either be too small or need 3rd party upgrades or both. It’s a half-measure.

 

Actually a brilliant idea. Especially if we don’t get a commander class Deathsaurus.

Not to mention his wiiiiiiide wingspan needs to be present, which neither Generations mold of him does any justice to anyway IMHO.

Voyager is the way to go with Scourge/Sweeps.

Yes, we had better. But I’ll take whatever I can get when it comes to Deathsaurus.

 

I still think there's an argument for Voyager Scourge and Deluxe Sweeps with a distinct design and slightly more wallet friendly for army building.
That said, that idea seems less likely in a line focusing heavily on Sunbow accuracy...

 

Yeah, I keep picturing Hasbro wanting to release a Rainmakers-style Sweeps boxed set. D= Wallets would die by the hundreds.

 

Or it literally IS the Rainmakers but as Sweeps   That is, Sweeps in EYE SEARING NEON

 

Are we talking Animated-inspired? If so, I'd say the Hound or Ironhide mold.

Well if Hasbro takes a cue from TFP's Vehicons, the Autotroopers could potentially be more than one vehicle mode. A truck Autotrooper would be pretty rad.

 

G1 Vehicons would be pretty neat too.

 

What about the 2015 RiD sweeps and armada?

Cyberwarp, Skyjack, Treadshock, and Riotgear?

EDIT: Shockdrive and Warnado are more Cyclonus’ Armada and Treadshock and Riotgear are Cyclonus’ battalion. But Cyberwarp and Skyjack take huge cues from G1 Scourge and are essentially the Femme Sweeps.

 

And that is why we had this option of the Sweep head.

Having Scourge as either a short voyager or a tall deluxe are the only options right now.

 

TFS just got Astrotrain in, but the other three Wave 5 bots are still in limbo. He's chilling in my stack with XTB Motormaster, the wait is killing me!

Cyberwarp was a significant character in nuRID and deserved better than a relatively simplistic toy as part of the Galvatronus set.

More Femcons in general would be cool with me.

To further differentiate Scourge and the Sweeps, one should be his classic alt mode, the other 2010 Generations one. I'm on the fence which should be which.
