Gravestone is excellent. Send my compliments to 598 Robots. He has designed some great figures. Great work all round X-Transbots. _DSC4015.jpg

Shit! I was about to finally order all five X-Transbots Stunticons from Toy Dojo (was waiting until I got paid again) and now Flipout is sold out. I don’t want just part of the whole crew, even if it’s only one figure I’ll be missing.

Isn't it a shame that there's only one Transformers retailer out there?

Indeed, but Flipout is sold out everywhere I’ve looked.

Some sellers have it on ebay. Mostly from China, so check the Chinese ebay seller thread just in case. Robotkingdom has them, though I've never purchased anything with them, so check the forum how people's experiences with them were.

Yep, I do. I'll apply some Future to tighten it up later.

Is it tighter when turning the head to look left (from your pov) and looser turning it right? Well it might be the shape of the ball joint that is connected to the head. What I did was added a very thin layer of gorilla glue to the front and back of the ball joint, but not the sides as, if you observe the ball joint, 2 sides have more of a protrusion that keeps the head secure, and 2 sides are much smoother/flatter on the ball joint and help the joint give way and pop out, so only 2 opposite sides of the ball joint need some mass.
Be careful to only add a very little thickening because, not only do you want to make sure the ball joint doesn't snap off when rotating, you want to avoid too much friction that will wear off the material you add. I'd add the stuff and then wait till it is pretty much fully dried and then pop it back in, and only pop it back in from the looser orientation so as to minimize the resistance to pushing it back in, so with the head turned 45 deg to the right or so.

Use future polish. If you get too much of it on the peg you can either work it until it wears away slightly or use rubbing alcohol to take it off and retry. Future should rebrand itself as Energon because it goes on every Transformer I own basically.

That's actually the main problem I have with future is that it always just wears away too easily. It's also so liquid that I can't control the amount I apply easily.
Glue is definitely more dangerous as more can go wrong, but I find it more useful in some cases. There are places I would absolutely not use it though, and that's for when I just need minor tightening up.

Just have him standing on the office desk. Love his hand articulation, it has a very natural look to them.

I can recommend clear nail polish.
It is made to deliver a smooth coating, has an ever-so-slightly tacky surface for good grip, and won't corrode the plastic as glue might.
Oh, and it comes with a small brush :)

i second this. too bad the high friction will make the coating go away faster than pledge.
