... maybe so, but I lost count of the amount of times it looked like Hasbro were repeating themselves, until you get the actual figure in hand and they did things a different way. Although they still have the right to do slight variations on figures they did in the past. Look at all the variations on Camaro Bumblebee.

I have to say the proportions are looking great. I really hope it's close to the final figure. Love the roundedness of everything, from torso to helmet to feet. Of course it's easy to make things look better in box art, but at this point the proportions have a better feel than both MP figures. I'm probably speaking too soon here, I presume it can't be so different from Cliffjumper.

If they use Cliff for the base than it will probably be a little better than Cliff, mainly because the feet are likely to be shorter due to the curvature involved in the VW style hood.

I'm betting on a minor retool to the voyager(to be more Earth-y) and armor and thrown into Leader Class....

Yeah, that's better than the flat foot look. Actually the more I think about it, they may end up having less in common than many of us originally expected. Certainly if this box art is any indication. Just the the car shells would be very different as a starting point.

One thing that helps this depiction, and I don't exactly know how or if they could do it in the final toy is the reduced size of the torso relative to the legs. If they can pull those proportions off it'll look really sharp, nice rounded form without the fat look. Anyway, far as I'm concerned the reveal can't come soon enough.

I know it might be too much too ask, but if it is similar to what we recently got, but with a little less of a backpack, that would be ideal for me.

For a centerpiece Megatron we need actual ankles and hand swivels....oh and CW coat of shiny paint wouldn't hurt. See studio series Megatron (they still know how to do it)

classics bee came out over 13 years ago with his last release 9 years ago, he hasnt seen nearly as much of the spotlight in 'generations' as characters like starscream, megatron or optimus who have yearly (or more) releases, despite him being even more popular (most of his toys are in other lines and not necessarilly g1 either: rid15, cyberverse, movie), so i think its fine that g1 bee gets another go. besides classics bee might be a nice figure but it isnt the same aesthetic or scale as wfc figures so a new bee is very welcome

im not trying to antagonize, i just wanted to point something out. :D

There was also the T30 Bee which is an awesome figure for the IDW take.
