It’s possible. Igear showed lots of prototype products that never came out. If Zeta painted a target on themselves, it might be best for them to sell the design or start a sister company to release this. Even that may not be enough. New laws in China this year give western companies greater protection of their IPs in China.

They are simply keeping it up until it's either announced as a GO, or a definitive CANCELLED.

 

It already was, by zeta. It’s been shelved, and whether or not it’s revived is up to zeta, who already confirmed it to be dead in the water.

Things that have been canceled can be revived. So no, it’s canceled, people just don’t understand that canceled things have as much chance to return as shelved things because it means the same dam thing.

 

If showz gets notification of cancellation they will take it down. Dotm soundwave RIP, wanted that one. As soon as they knew they refunded. So until u get refunded keep the faith

I never threw down for the preorder, but if there is news on the project still going forward, I will strongly consider it. I just assumed that there was an "official" cancellation announcement and the fact that so many sites still have the preorder available, I was surprised.

I mean the last thing we heard is that it may be aborted, right? I don't recall anything final and definitive coming from the company. I'm not counting on it coming out at this point but I'm also not cancelling my preorder.

 

Yeah, as long as I have money down for a pre-order, it’s on pause until further notice. If ShowZ returns my money then I’ll consider it cancelled.
