I would've bought him from you bit I already got man, he's sitting in my Spiderverse detolf since it's still Petey's body and face that doc ock is using as the perfect clone specimen (he'll never sleep with Aunt May again with that face lol) but if you dont want to waste your money on the spider figures to get those parts I'm sure we can work something out to save you money
Do you have the legs for Demo? I've decided that I do want Rabbit after all since she is a Spidey villain from the 80s (I'm mostly trying to stick with the characters from the 60s-90s with some exceptions like Miles, Noir, and Spider-Gwen). Anyway, no luck on any more Demogoblin wave dudes. One of the Targets I went to didn't have a single Spidey figure, even Beetle and Speed Demon were gone. The Walgreens down the street only had Doom, Reed, and Sue, with a lot of Beetles and Speed Demons. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...
Agreed. Let's get back on topic, folks. James Bond talk can go in the Movies and Television forum where it belongs.
I've been on a semi-hiatus from Marvel Legends collecting lately but I had to preorder Crossbones from Amazon today. With a 3$ gift card balance it worked out to $18.19 which is nice.
On the subject of paint, is there any paint out there that doesn't feel all weird on figures? I've tried cheap ones, I've tried expensive ones, but all of them, gloss or matte, all have this weird feel to them when you touch a figure that has been painted. It's kind of hard to describe what I mean but I guess the best way to put it is that the paint on a figure I buy feels smooth. When I paint it though, it feels like sandpaper.
Just a Heads up according to Panjiva, the Blackwidow wave, fan channel Blackwidow deluxe figure and the Fan channel Stan Lee Figure are starting to arrive in port. Hasbro Inc., 16047 Mountain Avenue, Chino, CA 91708, USA | Buyer Report — Panjiva
Has anyone else come across Marvel Legends Spider-Man on clearance at their local Walgreens, or has it just been that one Boynton Beach, Florida sighting?
No, I don't think there have been any confirmed sightings outside of that store for that cheap. I think Walgreens allows its local store management to decide when to clearance items. I'm guessing either a) some collector was trying to play the return game by buying up stock in one store to prompt a restock, and returning to another store, or b) that store was sent too many figures for its shelf; the manager wanted to move the overstock product quickly.
Well I've never said I was an expert on painting. I've said I suck at it at best which is why I will rarely ever customize my figures. However, how can I then stop the paint from feeling weird?
