I can't imagine anybody more miscast for any role in Star Wars than Jason Statham. And, I like the actor. But, wow is he a bad fit for this kind of movie. He's a much better fit for punching a shark movie or something.

You'd be surprised what trained people can do by hand.

What We Do In The Shadows is well worth a watch, as is Hunt for the Wilderpeople.

They're different kinds of funny, but both very good movies.

You can see the paper is marked if you look closely. He’s following a template but still... pretty neat.

I’d be down at this point.

Maybe a Fast and Tattooine. Statham can punch a rancor.

Actually I say let him play The Transporter in a Star Wars movie. Even keep the same suit.

Has anyone read "From A Certain Point of View"?

I know it's relatively old by now, but I've only learned about it recently and I bought it because I love the "Tales from..." series.

Unfortunately, I'm more than a little disappointed in the quality of the stories: they don't seem to be as good as the short stories in the old anthology books. I'm still jumping my way back and forth in the book at a leisurely pace so maybe that'll change. Does anyone have a recommendation?

So I know this is hard to believe but until a few days ago, I’d never seen Star Wars. It’s been a super hot topic lately so I figure it’s time. I started with the original trilogy and wanted to share my thoughts. So far I’ve watched the first two movies.

A New Hope is pretty awesome! Good characters and story, I thought C3PO and Chewy were pretty funny. Darth Vader certainly lives up to his reputation and the concept of the force is pretty interesting. Really cool space battles and the Death Star is pretty sweet. Luke is pretty whiny but overall really great movie!

The Empire Strikes Back... wtf? I’m sorry but what a dumpster fire of a sequel. Getting a new director was a horrible decision. He completely screws up what Lucas had going in A New Hope. Han Solo is a huge a-hole and other than rescuing Luke at the beginning, does pretty much nothing the entire movie. All he does is evade the empire for a little bit, then visits his shady friend from his past that turns them over to the empire. Oh and he pretty much bullies Leah into liking him. Always being a jerk and yelling at her so anytime he’s not being a jerk she thinks he’s ok. He also try’s to force her into saying she likes him by threatening to leave the rebels. Its pretty messed up. Leah, btw, is pretty much useless as well. Luke is pretty lame too. First he gets himself caught by that yeti thing, then he apparently uses the force to make his lightsaber magically float to his hand, so I guess that’s a thing now. How would he even be able to do that when Obi One didn’t really teach him anything? Then he trains with Yoda which is actually pretty cool but he’s just super whiny the whole time, then he leaves to save his friends but he can’t even do that. All he does is get his hand cut off and his friends end up saving him! Darth Vader being his father is pretty cool but I already heard about that. Still pretty cool, though. And that’s basically the movie. Pretty lame, I’ve got to say. Pretty confused, too. Everyone always says how The Empire Strikes Back is great but to me A New Hope was way better. I’m not even sure I’ll watch the others. A New Hope is Star Wars to me.

I was on the ride when it broke down last week in Disney World. But the ride was a great experience.

Poe farting at a wedding sounds like a better story than the one we actually got in all 5 Disney War films. And, I haven't even clicked the video yet.

Spacedock is a good channel, lots of fun stuff there. So if the Poe farting video tickles your fancy, give the other videos a look.

Why yes I’m a subscriber, how did you guess :p
