I really like this Ravage design. I could never understand how G1 and BW were the same character but this design here looks like a step between them. It's not quite G1 and not quite BW either but there's enough elements from both that I could see G1 Ravage becoming this guy before being upgraded into the Predacon body we saw in Beast Wars. This is like the missing link between those two vastly different designs that I think he always needed to make that transition seem a bit more smooth and less like a massive leap from one to the other.

 

Please pm me if you do not need Megatron parts, I will gladly buy them  

 

Not sure if it's been posted yet but I got mine from PSX and the bonus was another "starfish" head for Megs. The normal one that comes with him has gold/yellow accents and the bonus one has blue/purple accents. I'll get a picture up later.

Thanks for the tip. I asked psx and they say they have the bonus still if you order from them before CNY (jan 25).

So I did. Very pleased to be getting lots of Tyrantron upgrades and a free kitty.

 

Got this along with the Tyrantron reissue. They're both great! I can't wait to set it up in the scene where Ravage tells Megatron that everyone has "some wobbles", lol.  

I can't figure out what one piece that came along in the box is for. Was this announced/does anyone know what it's for?

 

That'd be the 5mm hand grip that allows the rifle to be held by Tyrantron, Kultur etc.

You need to pop off the smaller hand grip that is on the rifle by default in order to apply it. Mine was very tight so might take some wiggling.

The smaller one is intended for mmc's Ni. But its weird the factory left it on considering this new copy of the rifle isn't intended for her and she already has the purple one. Guess it was just standard assembly process.

 

I see, thank you! I was kinda hoping it was to be used with *Tyrantron's* cannons. But this is good too.

Ravage's transformation is rather simple and he's a joy to pose.

How well do pistols stay in his hands and “holsters”?

 

On my copy, once they're tabbed into the fists, they're in there snugly. Hold him upside down, shake him in, they stay in for me. However, the tabs are extremely small though, so at the same time it doesn't take that much force to accidentally bump them off the fists or missile launchers.

But he is definitely a fun little figure, very poseable. The Stunticons are so jealous:

 

Got an email from BBTS saying my order for this guy came in. But I'm not sure I want him anymore. How well does this guy scale with Beast Wars figures?

 

Just got this guy. He's pretty cool but I have no need for the Megatron bits or the rifle.

He is almost exactly the same height as MP Blackarachnia.

 

I didn't realize how small mp blackarachnia is, or jaguar is bigger than i thought.

An MP Datsun is about a head taller than Ravage.

If this Ravage were to be mp scale he'd ideally be mp cheetor size but he's a little shorter than that.



But yeah these lot are all on the higher end of deluxe size. Cheetor is like the big deluxes we sometimes had with classics like Drift and whatnot.

 

He looks even better in hand. All that grey sucks up the light and makes him hard to get a good photo.

 

After doing a little searching after seeing PSX tease Remix Glit MMC OX Remix RMX-14 Doccat (Glit), I kind of want this deco for Reformatted Jaguar:
