Should Marvel make animated Direct-To-Video movies similar to DC?

DC's Animated Movie Universe is a shared universe that started in 2014, with Flashpoint Paradox setting up the universe, and Justice League: War being the first film.
DC made animated movies prior to this, such as Batman: Under the Red Hood and Superman: Doomsday, which are all unconnected.
DC also makes alternative reality stories such as Gotham by Gaslight and Red Son.

What if Marvel did the same thing?
I want to see a universe that's connected much like the MCU, but less restricted. Featuring characters who haven't appeared yet, such as Deadpool, X-Men, Fantastic Four, etc. I don't want the movies to reintroduce characters, but taking place in a universe where all the heroes are established and well-known in a modern day setting.
Also alternative reality and What If movies.

In universe movies I would like to see:
    • Marvels - Phil Sheldon will introduce the universe in this film. Telling the history of the Marvel universe through an everyman.
    • Venom: Lethal Protector - A film with Venom trying to redeem himself, with Spider-Man as a guest character.
    • Maximum Carnage - A team up film with Spider-Man and Venom trying to defeat the villain Carnage.
    • Deadpool - Circle Chase - Deadpool is being hunted down by mercenaries, on a hunt that goes across the entire world.
    • The Invaders - A film based on the comic of the same name.
    • The Galactus Trilogy - The film introduces Galactus, the Watcher, Silver Surfer, and the Fantastic Four, with an adaptation of the story ark.
    • Avengers Vs. X-Men - A film about the story ark of the same name. With Cyclops having a conflict between the Avengers, and the near extinction of the Mutant race.
    • Future Imperfect - A movie centered around Hulk, battling Maestro in the future.
    • The Death and Return of Wolverine - A two parter movie.
    • Origins - Wolverine's birth and discovery of his powers, and his importance in the Marvel universe.
    • X-23: Innocence Lost - The birth of X-23, the next Wolverine.
    • House of M - Scarlet Witch takes the Mutant population's powers.
    Out of universe movies:
    • Spider-Man: Life Story - A movie focusing on Peter Parker's 60 years as Spider-Man, taking place real time. Good story.
    • The End Vol. 1 - A 3 movie feature. Containing Punisher: The End, Hulk: The End, and Venom: The End
    • Old Man Logan - An alternative future, with a reluctant Wolverine.
    • Marvel Zombies - A world where all the superheroes became zombies.
Like my idea? What movies would you like to see?

Not with the current people in charge, they also tried to do it several years back, but nerfed many of the stories making them too kiddy and either silly original stories or altered the classic ones so they were more kid friendly. Even DC's aren't usually Direct adaptations anymore. Right now Marvel comics is too busy trying to stay in business. They are behind on paying their freelancers which is never a good sign.

I forgot to mention those films.
Hulk Vs. was the best of those films, the others were fine. But I did grow up with these movies.
Also Marvel Animation is going through hell.

Well Marvel animation was good, then Jeph Loeb took over, and his stuff is usually just bland or mediocre. I'd love to see a cartoon at the level of Avengers EMH again. He's gone now so maybe they will hire some good writers and artists again for the animation department.

Marvel even managed to make the Anime series bland. And that had good animation.
Should've been smart and used the anime artists to just adapt classic stories.

Why do people like anime? Their cartoons are more or less almost exactly like the manga, or close to it.
Marvel and DC should go back to just taking their best stories and adapting them as close as they can. (But they won't because then they'd have to pay the creators of those stories a small royalty.)
So we get mediocre crap that sells less instead. Often having stories ruined by the changes. Hush,Killing Joke,-and others.
I'm not excited anymore by DC straight to DVD offerings. They are never as good as they used to be.

The last good Marvel series was Avengers EMH,Spectacular Spider-man and wolverine and X-men. And those were years ago.

I'd hire those teams again if I could and have them make new seasons or even new series if there was some licensing issue. They have already proven they can make good series. Heck the creators of the old X-men animated series on Fox wanted to make more episodes and recently signaled their interest. Be smart Hire them!. But no to many corporate issues and meddling, not enough smart people anymore.

I wish they would've continued with Marvel Anime.

I always wanted a Spiderman anime. Tokyo seems a great place for him to swing around in.

I would have liked more, but the ones we got (other than Hulk Vs.) we're just ok. Nothing awful, but nothing great either.

Well, Jeph Loeb has been out for months now so who knows?

I didn't mind some of the current cartoons (the Guardians one is vastly underrated), but the 2013-2016 animated films themselves were forgettable. The effort and animation quality was still lacking.

I would actually prefer out of universe TV shows. Like a new Earth's Mightiest Heroes, or a new X-Men cartoon. If it is anything like the recent DC movies, then forget it. But, a cartoon series? I'd be down with that.

We are getting an animated WHat IF? series. I would imagine with Feige now in charge of everything that we will get more animated movies in the future. Some of their past movies were actually pretty good, but I admit DC has a lot better ones. Hulk vs and the Iron Man and Cap/Hulk movies were good. Planet Hulk was great.
