I stopped by a local WM today and saw a few of these new McFarlane DC figures on the shelf (Harley and the non-animated versions of Batman and Supes). I’ve been looking for a decent and fairly priced vanilla Supes figure with decent articulation for a while (funny how hard those are to find) so I picked him up. I haven’t opened him yet, but, I am cautiously optimistic. They all look good, IMO...if only Harley were an inch shorter...

I like it better than the JLU one that DCC has coming, with no knees:

I opened up my Supes, and I think I like him. I’m also impressed by the figure stand that comes in the box. I just expected one of those plates with pegs on it, but you actually get a slightly articulated stand that grips the figure around the waist...it looks like you can even use it to hold him in a flight pose...need to test.

Coming from ML and SW figures, I’m used to softer vinyl figures as opposed to the more rigid materials this guy is made of. As long as the durability is there, it isn’t a negative...it just feels different. He also has some joints and articulation points and types those others don’t...or at least typically don’t...have. I dig how they largely incorporated the knee and elbow joints into the sculpt...but I kinda wish he had double jointed elbows. The wrist and ankle pivots provide a lot of range, but, they actually kind of break up the sculpt. Overall I like him...need more playtime, though.

No. I was going to ask are their separate case for Batman and Superman? I pickup animated Bats and regular Bats at Target that didn't sell to me on Thursday then I went to another Target and all they had was the two Bats. So is their a case with Supes,GL and HQ and another case with all the Bats?

On Tuesday I went to Walmart and they at least over 50 boxes on 4 pallets and some one open the Mcfarlane case and all that was left was Supes,GL and HQ. So IDK if Bats was in that case.

From my experience, none of the Targets around me will actually stock "street-date" toys on the actual date. They'll get around to it sometime that week.

I was originally going to buy the AC1000 Superman and DC1000 Batman, but then NECA's T101 and 2 waves of Marvel Legends had to show up this week. I'm going to end up only getting the armored Batman & Superman, as well as the Batman Who Laughs whenever he shows up, since I just remembered that I have the MAFEX Batman & Superman coming later this year.

If your store got Mcfarlane wave and it's gone your better off pre-ordering from GS, you may get it faster from them than the next restock.

Was able to pick up comic Superman and Batman last night from Target. Went to one store whose employee was super shady about confirming whether they had any in the stockroom and even less helpful about offering any ability to go look. He did say they were able to be sold which inspired me to go to another local Target where another employee was also very reluctant but ultimately helped.

Does anyone know if the Nightwing assortment is also arriving now or just the single figures? I’m trying to run down a DCPI number for him to aid my search.

I’m not fully sold on Batman yet, but I’m enjoying Superman so far albeit without as much articulation as I’d prefer. He just looks great on display.

No one has started to carry these new figures at all. All Target has are Poison Ivys, Jokers, and Wonder Girls on clearance for $6.

Last minute decision I said screw it and preordered Hellbat and The Bat Who Laughs Thursday night on Amazon just before pre-order ended. Saw the next day how everything's either out of stock or taking 2 - 4 weeks to ship.

Order update still shows delivery expected for tomorrow. Will post pics if they actually show up.

I saw the 2 Batman’s at Walmart... I didn’t realize how heavily painted they are... kinda reminds me of NECA, but not in a good way...

07F1EAB6-AE9E-47AC-8B74-369F2AB85AF4.jpeg Was out at various Walmarts today looking for the G1 reissue Astrotrain. No luck there, but I did pick up a McFarlane Animated Superman and a Mattel KGBeast that I found on clearance.
