No problem - I probably overdo the detail... but i never know the experience level of who im responding to, plus in case it helps someone else with no experience.

He also mentioned that the doors are made of clear plastic that’s painted. I checked my broken door and sure enough, it’s clear plastic. I wonder what other parts are gang molded with those and if it’s all the parts that are breaking.

Buy discounted price and return again to cause further discount until the listing gets pulled.

Yes. My hound is from TCP.
    1. At least 12 transformations
    2. Gradually more aggressive handling. Even dropped from 4 ft on accident.
    3. No breakage
    4. No cracks

Don’t have WD40. How about KY Jelly lubricant? Or does it make things more stiff & hard to handle?

I already say some pages before that i receive a hound with break door right out of the box. I send to TFS-Express alot of messages and they told me to sending back to they. Next my copy and others sending back to Takara to fix it. Then Takara sending back to TFS-Exprees and finally from them back to me. Is that normal??? I already say that i dont now if my copy has another problem becauce i didnt transformed yet, also there is posible break the figure during the long shipping process. Finally this process take along of time to complete. What can i do???

I think all you can do is wait! I would transform your new copy as soon as possible to make sure it doesn’t have any issues, though.

Just checked my box, same stamp. Can't say I felt anything was going to break tho and there's certainly no cracks. I've just removed the spare wheel, gas can and rear gun out of the feet just to be on the safe side anyways.

Kinda wish all the other humans we've had were this size.

I've just checked the Holy Scale Chart Bible and it turns out Optimus Prime Spike and Bumblebee Spike SHOULD be smaller than Hound Spike. I mean, duh - humans CAN MASS SHIFT! Man, all you scale-nazis need to get another hobby before you ruin it for everyone!!

    Good morning.

Well I'm afraid my previously perfect copy has now got the fender hinge crack, and two cracks on the armature. Last transformed him a couple of days ago and was fine after transformation. They've cracked just sitting there doing nothing.

Going to try and return him for a refund to AE. Anyone had any luck doing this before?

Damn shame. The figures brilliant. I won't be buying a reissue though, as I wouldn't feel safe going in on a pre order.

Do they do product recalls in Japan?

They make you pay for return shipping, unfortunately.

Yep, so I've heard (I have the same issue as he does), that's why I'm considering keeping him, I seriously don't care about this figure enough to dump yet another £20 into this figure. But on second hand I'm considering it as I think I'd rather be happy with £90 in my pocket or bank account than a figure that will be just shelf queening for life.

Mine from AE is still holding up in terms of hinge cracks. I did an overnight treatment of silicone oil before transforming him. The passenger's side seat is chipped, but I am not 100% certain it was that way out of the box, which is why I'm keeping him.
