Ibot was talking about not only putting electronics in him but a remote control. Sounds neat but I feel like it's going to make the figure more expensive than a non-transforming figure deserves to be. Xtb really seem to fancy themselves as the "premium" option lately.

Yeah I’d kinda prefer some simplicity. I just want a great looking display piece Quintesson.

Maybe some light up features but remote control sounds a bit much. What am I gonna be turning it on and off from across the room, using it as a night light?

A magnetic hover system would have been a much better investment, imho.

Those evil laughters along with spinning head gimmicks, are a definate must on a masterpiece.

 

To my mind, electronics or remote control aren't needed. Making it hover also isn't needed (though it would be cool... but doing it unpowered and in an effective manner seems complicated).
I'd be happy with a translucent, light-up 'beam' underneath so you can decide if you want to use batteries or not and would look great either way. Would be stable, wouldn't require batteries, and would be fairly inexpensive.

Most of the diff collectibles that I've seen hover have been pretty expensive so I don't know if the hardware/tech involved is going to be worth it.

As some others have said I'd love just a clear stand and if electronics are going to be incorporated, maybe just something that makes the faces spin around. If they wanted to get fancy, they could add a motion sensor in the base so that as u walk by and it spins.. Maybe plays an synced audio clip. Lol.

If they made a deluxe version with base and motion sensor and audio clips I'd buy it!
