Flywheels only showcases how inconsistent IDW was with it's sizes, just like the G1 cartoon anyways. Looking at the art @LazyAza posted, you can see that Crankcase and Krok are kinda same-size-y, with Krok being a little taller in that shot even taking perspective into account. However, if you look at the shot provided by @TheSuperion , Krok is straight up SHORTER than Crankcase:

If you squint at @LazyAza's pic, you'll see Fulcrum (traditionally one of the shortest Scavengers) come up to Spinister's elbow - which is about Misfire's height! Then there's this mess:

Now EVERYONE is the same height-ish, save for Spinister. Granted, Flywheels was probably always pegged to be about Spinister-sized, but given that he died like two books after his Scavengers appearance is anyone REALLY spoiling for him? I suppose if we're lucky someone can talk to those First Party Toys guys to get us a custom Black Shadow:

You’d have to make something complicated where you made a Blitzwing but he could also remove his respective mode parts to be a duo con. Seems too convoluted.

Yeah it’s not that accurate at all. I think also that Tesaurus was only drawn that big so he could work with how big that Flywheels was drawn.

All I know is that I really Hope this gets green lit, and maybe we can get both a set of IDW dynobots and scavengers. That way everyone gets what they want. Because I’d really love a full set of MMC dinos

I think the DJD load ended up killing MMC. They've been in production for 5 years? More?

That combined with the death of CHUG scale...

I'd be in if they started producing Legends scale stuff, MNC and Fansproject both. I've always liked their design direction.

Haven't read all iterations of Grimlock in the IDW 2005 comics, but his look in MTMTE and Lost Light aren't my favorite. Don't like his, and the other Dinobots, alt mode in Spotlight on Shockwave.

Think I would prefer they do a Grimlock before he got a T-Rex alt mode. For T-Rex I have the Planet X version.

I hope this is the same case as MMC's Bulkhead figure where it feels like they canceled a figure but then they show that it's still going. We have little to no IDW representation of Grimlcok and it'd be such a waste if this is canned.

If you go from the first tease (Megatron version of Vox on April Fools 2014) we are approaching 6 years since reveal, presumably it was in design before that so maybe close to 7 years for the whole team. I would think Tesarus and Helix aren't that old, but I could be wrong.

Ugh... wanted SO badly for this to be an alert showing something saying a credible "still working on it" ...
    I have Severo..
I acknowledge Vulcun as awesomely done but I dont like the FoC design enough to pay for him...
I like Wrath, but he's still too G1...
I guess I'm too picky, but I want a better looking dino mode...

    How so?

If by “chug” being dead and you meaning mostly scout/deluxe sized stuff; then yes — that scale is pretty dead. Died with the old FansProject and MakeToys stuff.

Voyager scale is far from dead. I am sure @LazyAza or @RVDA can tell you that the reformatted line is doing just fine.

Correct me if I am wrong, it does better than their OX line, no? Save for the OX Arcee, I see just about zero interest in their other ox stuff. None if which are ever on the first few pages.

Other companies scales-with-voyagers products also seem to be doing just fine. Planet-X and their Deathsarus and Star Saber, etc.

Edit/final thoughts: I am so sick and tired of MP stuff. Any MP figure that isn’t voyager sized/“MP car bot sized,” is not fun to mess with (for me personally) and is too big and “unwieldy.” I’d much rather mess with a voyager or legends size figure than open up my detolfs and touch any of my MP stuff.

Yeah me too. Chug and legends are fun. You can mess with them. I wish like hell some 3p companies would move back to chug.

Thank goodness for legends being so good now.
