Ah, thx. But ARGH! Blasted Hastak QC again. Mine came broken out of the box. They've been really terrible lately. All 3 MPs all had issues.

Ack that is shitty. Seeing some have a better time with theirs suggests mine is also a bit of a dud. The anchor does not fit secure, the tab broke, the leg ball joints are loose, joint tolerances in generally all all over the shop... I'm honestly stating to think its best to wait for reissues. Both my reissue Primal and Cheetor are better than the original.

 

BBTS kinda dragged ass on the pre-order here compared to other shops, but Blackarachnia finally arrived.

I'm reminded of everything I love together with everything I hate about modern Masterpiece TF toys. The robot mode is about as close to perfect and screen accurate as currently possible for something that has to transform and have articulation for posing. Thanks to its size, it's loaded with thin and delicate pieces and joints. Transformation isn't bad compared to many MP toys, aside from trying to work the robot head & chest through the spider-butt framework. Spider mode is pretty weak, so I don't have much incentive to change out of the excellent robot mode. I wish the included alternate faces had a bit better selection of expressions. Otherwise, while I feel the price is inflated like most recent MP toys, I can see where the money went, so to speak, and where the priorities are, and I don't feel cheated or regret my purchase at all.

 

Okay, so it looks like the Hasbro Pulse/Entertainment Earth North American releases don’t come with the pin and it only comes with the Chinese releases... there aren’t any on Ebay, so is anybody having any luck finding them by themselves?

I know I'm late but that is very creepy but also pretty awesome

 

I finally caved in and got this figure this week...despite my arachnophobia. I’m so glad I did. I did not expect her to be so much fun to pose...expected her to feel much more fragile. She’s a little flexible, given how thin some of the parts are, but she doesn’t feel like she’ll break anytime soon. I could care less about spider mode since she will NEVER BE IN THAT MODE AGAIN. My copy is pretty much perfect aside from the scary tight ankle transformation rotation step. She’s great. The best part was my wife’s reaction to her upper body proportions. She took one look and said, “God damn! Is she supposed to be like that!? What kind of kid’s show was she on?”. Lol.

 

Congrats! She's an awesome figure. Probably the best we will ever get of Blackarachnia. I love all the Beast Wars MP's thus far

 

She’s my first BW MP. I liked the show a lot but was never that big a fan of the toys. If/when they make MP Rattrap and Silverbolt, though, I’ll be all over them.

I have, and he looks good. I was just not a big fan of that character. The only existing/preorderable BW MP I may pick up at some point is Cheetor. That beast face cracks me up.

 

Nice! Cheetor is a great figure too.

 

I have the ko version she feels great nothing feels weak cept the obvious clear plastic clip on piece. Also i love her spider mode BECAUSE its not perfect, it makes me think of it being like a technoorganic mode that ive always wanted for beast wars original designs =D

 

Here's some feedback - why on pre-historic earth did they not include the alternate gun stick attachment (cyber venom)???
