Finally got the Decepticon Headmasters together.  

 

What heads are those?

 

Those are the Takara Legends releases of those figures. The heads are accurate to the Headmasters series.

 

Correct, these are the Takara LG ones.

However, Weirdwolf is a mixture of a few things:

LG Weirdwolf body & legs
TR Weirdwolf arms (I like the Decepticon badge on the upper shoulders)
TR head with the Fix-it FI-01 face plate (the white matched better than the Takara one)

I ended up with the Fix-it set for Cerebros and figured I'd see what it would look like. I have another set of the Fix-it face plates to turn TR versions into the Japanese Headmaster style if anyone is interested.

 

Such an awesome bug.

 

G1 Cliffjumper was the first Transformer toy that I ever got as a kid.



At least with the T30 figure, he's the right size and has his glass gas gun as well as a Targetmaster. There's no parts-forming here, other than his weapons.

 

I wish that mold had gotten a new head sculpt (and didn’t have the OG WFC chest) - its a really quality little figure, and the arm transformation is really cool.

 

i feel like as lauded as t30 is, the legends are really underappreciated. they really helped kick off nu-generations with a bang n optimus n bumblebee were both stellar little toys that set the tone for what to expect from the price point.

 

I miss the legends/scout price point .

 

I've been putting getting these guys off for way to long , I guess it's time , especially having gotten Apeface and Snapdragon well on his way .. Excited.

Siege Jetfire is still the best of the lot, IMHO, but I love all my CHUG Jetfires.

Definitely looks the part although I prefer the size of the T30 version. ...and the classics version is pretty great too.

Me too buddy, me too...   The Micromasters just don’t have the same “umph” as the old legends.

 

I'd misplaced TR Megatron's cannon, so I'd given him Siege Megatron's cannon as a substitute. Well, when searching for train stuff today I found the cannon.

So I figured I could give Siege Meg's cannon back.

TR Megs had other ideas.
