Reprolabels can make sets of clear stickers (that don't damage the paint nor leave sticky residue) that could just do that... Sounds like a very good idea to me.

I was thinking the same thing. I would have bought this set just for labels to cover the yellow chipping parts on his waist. Huge missed opportunity there.

I know it's a long shot, but what does anybody think the odd are on a 3rd party making a fix for the knees? Such as making the ratchet one whole piece rather than 2.

Only ask as right knee seems to have gone on mine.

So, has there been any news on an upgrade kit, KO, etc. I would have guessed some company would have atleast tried to upgrade this guy by now.

I was asking a general question on whether or not a company has announced anything that will have something to due with this mold, whether it be an add-on kit, or knock off.

You're being very bold about it......

    *badum tish*

I'd take a ko as an addition, that can stand with mp36 holding the mind control helmet.

So an update to the problem I had with the voice box that stopped working correctly; I opened the battery compartment and saw no corrosion at all. I put new batteries in and tried the trick of waiting a few seconds before activating the sounds and it still didn't work. I DID notice that the on/off switch would drop a little after flipping it up, so I held it in place as high as it would go and just spam-clicked the voice button until he started speaking complete sentences again. Not sure if this will help anybody else who might experience the same issue, but it worked on my copy.

    UNBELIEVABLE!!!

    THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Have been trying and trying to sort this problem out. Went through every possible solution but he still looked a mess.

Your solution appears to have done the job. Even the annoying blue tabs click in.

I've tried this but I can't close the legs by doing so. Maybe I'm not clever enough and beg for more detailed pics of the inside arangement

I had that problem. I went back to it and just ever so slightly pushed the kneecap up so that it was just missing to touch the blue pieces of his legs ( if that makes sense ). Found that, although I still had to smooth the panels out, it did eventually clip together nicely.
