As has been pointed out before, the instructions are horrible and leave out an important part of the mixmaster and scavenger connection. The cross bar on scavenger is for the rear wheels on mixmaster.

 

Both of the Comic Con displays ignore many things that are communicated clearly in the instructions, like the way Scavenger's shoulders peg together. They might not have had access to all of the instructions yet.

I think I will arrange them kind of like like this when the last two are out but better with the leaders on the end and the deluxes in the middle

I've taken the liberty of assigning personalities to all 8 of the Constructicons. Scavenger fancies himself BM Thrust but comes off more as BW Waspinator. Which fits perfectly with that wave.

I wonder what mode Overload is more likely to get, the normal two legged robot or the spider-like one? I think it would be easier to convert it´s rear into multiple legs, but I am not a toy designer.

 

Looking at the prototype pics, it’s hard to tell but it seems like overload will have 4 arms and 2 legs

 

Now that I’ve got 4 of them combined, Overload is gonna to have some strong joints to hold it all.

 

Looks like he does, unless those are just for show.

 

I think out of all Constructicons, Overload seems to be the most mysterious to me. More secretive than Hightower.

 

So I attempted first combination with the currently released bots. Wow are those ratchets on scavenger tight. I’m already seeing some heavy stress marks on a ton of points on him. The clips for the arm have some, the little black bar that holds up one wheel has really bad ones, and most of the little C clips on him have bad ones as well. Not looking good...

 

I get that feeling too. It's why I can't wait to see renders.

 

Trans rights for Trans-formers!

 

Pour boiling water gently over the stress marks. This will get rid of them. It takes a few seconds each pass and 2-3 passes but it's an easy way to fix stress marks.
